yeah, no. just, no.

Discussing the show and past episodes is fine. Do not put things that have happened in the TV series in spoilers. However, don't spoil things from the books that may happen in future episodes. Put book spoilers in spoiler tags with a CLEAR WARNING that it is from the book.

Anyways, the characters on TWD are completely irrational. I understand that it's a survival situation but come on guys. Rick himself was always looking for a safe haven and when he found a pretty good one he rejected it. Judith would have all the food she could ever want, all of the medical treatment she would need. The survivors outnumber the cops and they would have just taken over the place. I suppose the plot demands for them to leave so... whatever. And for those of you mentioning comics: stop. Or else I'll start dropping Game of Thrones spoilers in your inbox.

Frank Dillane and Alycia Debnam Carey will play brother-sister in Cobalt. It sounds like the show is still looking for actors to play the main characters of the male divorced teacher and the female guidance counselor. The location that the story will take place also is unknown. They could film the show in Pennsylvania as previously discussed, but that still has not been determined. It will be interesting to see if any of the characters on the Walking Dead show will make an appearance on Cobalt. If the two stories are taking place in the same time era and fairly close in location, the possibilities are there.

It would feel like the prison all over again. I don't want things turning into a soap opera. And if they got comfortable, of course there would have to be some external threat like the Governor to come destroy everything, which would just be a repeat of what's already happened.

And it's not the same thing over and over again simply trying to survive in nature? Different characters, same story? As many have pointed out, there is no end goal to the walking dead, and so for someone like me, if someone completely new isn't introduced into the show within the rest of the season (there must be something new, there is seriously no conflict whatsoever right now), then I'll stop watching it. Will stick to stuff like Parks and Rec, GoT, Hannibal, Boardwalk Empire, etc.

You really got to wonder what the fuck relevance it has that some dude's divorced. It's like, that's what DEFINES him man. You just know there's going to be some romance bullshit in there when the defining characteristic of a character is that he is divorced. For fucks sake.

A woman rape survivor feminist would find it offensive you dare to think male rape is anywhere near the level of terribleness as female rape. User was warned for this post

A woman rape survivor feminist would find it offensive you dare to think male rape is anywhere near the level of terribleness as female rape. And presumably a male rape victim would disagree, because the key point about rape is not about the sex, it is about the power and control of one party over another. And if you think all males are automatically in control in whatever situation with a female, you live in some delusional fairytale version of the 19th century... But this isn't the place for this discussion, and neither do I believe there is any validity to the theory, because the plot, and particularly the scene with the elevator shaft would make absolutely no fucking sense if she was.

I will continue watching the show because I watched so far and I'm still kinda interested in what happens to the characters but I wouldn't recommend anyone who is looking for a good new show to start watching Walking Dead. Theres just so much filler episodes and even the episodes who are supposed to be bring the main plot forward or have twists are kinda boring. I mean I feel kinda bad for Beth but it doesnt really bother me. I was basically just facepalming during the last minutes. No tension was built in this season so far, characters are acting unreasonable, the conversations are always the same and boring, no action and no real feelings or tension between the characters. A lot of you guys dont seem to like season 3 but I think it was ok compared to what happened after. It had a dangerous antagonist and some action at least. After the Gouverneur was killed nothing really happened anymore.

If they killed them all, that's four down. All they need to do is kill four more. Take the car, get into the base. Open fire with automatic weapons while the officers have only handguns. Take the food, medical supplies and cars (maybe even the doctor) and set course for Washington. Could have worked. Could have killed half of them, too. It's not a video game where you can just reload if things don't go just as planned, y'know.

I remember some episodes of the Talking Dead where they just played what if for the entire segment because the episode was so idiotic. Season 4 was just filler because the writers apparently had no idea what they should be doing or heading towards. It seems to be a recurring theme since Season 2, great few episodes then filler as the writers buy time to try and figure out where to go next but not to quickly.

Gang Related alum Cliff Curtis has nabbed the starring role in the new pilot from Robert Kirkman and Dave Erickson, The Hollywood Reporter has learned. The untitled companion series, currently a pilot but considered a shoo-in for a series order, explores the outset of the same zombie apocalypse as AMC's flagship show but takes place at a different location. Just realized it's been what 3-4 years since the Apocalypse, I don't know about Europe, but in the US during the summer the grass and in the south especially the kudzu would have covered the roads, and houses etc. Fake tall weeds, grass real expensive for production I wonder? Considering Judith's age, and episode of conception, I would argue that it's more like 2 years max. That said, the grass sure is short everywhere. Those zombies must have a road crew keeping things tidy.

Seriously though, you'll never get realistic details like that in a tv show. Hell, you don't get details like that in most movies, either.
