Discussing the show and past episodes is fine. Do not put things that have happened in the TV series in spoilers. However, don't spoil things from the books that may happen in future episodes. Put book spoilers in spoiler tags with a CLEAR WARNING that it is from the book. |

Definitely Resident Evil. The only other movie to have dogs (that was virus related) was I Am Legend.
Dawn of the Dead didn't have zombie dogs. Zombies completely ignored the dog in the remake and the original didn't even have a dog in it.

Yeah, I just rewatched the part of the movie that I thought the dogs were in. I think I just added a scene for RE in my head and put it into DotD. I watch too many Zombie movies, the bleed together sometimes.

So at least in this show, animals haven't been shown to turn yet...
Hmmmm...
It would totally be so interesting. Just imagine how it's going to be. How will they react, behave, or think?
Birds, dogs, fish or even livestock... WOW!
Oh yeah, it was definitely Resident Evil, sorry for the confusion

hate to play to expectations but there's only 15 minutes to go and I'm bored as shit. the governor killing half his group was probably the least interesting way possible to whittle down that mob to a number that it makes any sense for rick's group to handle. carl is taking a turn towards crazytown so we have something to do next season. yawn, bring on the andrea taking a bullet from the governor already.
This was the finale? What a joke so far :p Wonder if anything awesome is gonna happen soon.
Is the finale 2 hours? Or 1? Edit: Super disappointing.
Talking dead better make up for this shitty finale.
The only good part was the Andrea death.
That went a lot differently than I expected.
yeah, this was amateur hour, rank amateur even. all that buildup just for a squittery fart and 5 minutes of people ministering to dying andrea.
I especially loved the cut where they were at the governor's massacre site and next thing we know they're all the way at woodbury's gate and shooting at tyreese. I usually don't get too bothered by scene-to-scene ordering and composition, but...my god, maybe that's a sign you should have rewritten the entire episode to suck less.
This was a stupid finale, god damnit.
So I guess the governor just slinked away? Didn't even bother going back to woodbury. Let alone everyone at woodbury just accepting he killed everyone and that they should go to the prison, rather then their safe walled in homes?
O cant believe There was all that build up for that......so anticlimactic and boring. There's no action in this show anymore, so melodramatic.

This is what I'm upset at the most. The last 10 minutes was critical and felt like it should be 30 mins more instead. It was so rushed. Didn't explain where governor, Martinez, and the other black dude went, and why everyone that stayed in Woodbury just decided to take off so easily too.
Now did they get any supplies too? How will they support all of those people.
I don't know, I liked the finale. Now I'm wondering how they're going to bring the Governor back in this.
The combat was just horrible. A whole season of buildup just to have no real fighting. The governor's plan is to run everyone inside a jail to get ambushed and then run away. That's the whole thing. Wow.
I agree, Zalithian. I was getting pretty bored of the 95% politics, 5% action the show had started to take the past month or so. I was really hoping for something better this week. Probably not going to continue watching next season.

They pretty much stated that zombie animals are not going to make an appearance iirc.
That finale... Kinda disappointed. Once I saw they were still at the prison, I though for sure the governor was dead. Instead they chose to leave him for next season. Feels like it will be far too awkward to deal with.
And did they seriously give up that easily in the prison raid? People start firing at them for a minute, and everyone decides to retreat? I usually don't worry too much about the writing and all, but that made no sense to me.
