dont know if it fits the criteria of hidden gems since its fairly well-known. but when i watched it it was on TV and i assumed it would be silly and cheap. i was really really impressed with how good it was and how well it stood the test of time. definitely one of the best fantasy movies ever made | ||

If you're sensitive (not talking about "graphic violence", more moral violence), dont watch it. Plus when you know that the main actor did all the writting, directing and he was a "nobody" before, and the background of the movie is inspired by his own life, maan, fuck, talent. | ||

IMO, the best part of this movie was that there is really no hero and it really doesn't have a happy, sensationalist ending. Every character can be seen as a villain in their own sense. | ||
