His Girl Friday (1940) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0032599/ Very fast-paced comedy, with very light romantic storylines and a look into the newspaper/journalism industry back then (similar to Citizen Kane in that regard). Cary Grant (the male lead) makes this movie worth watching on his own with his hilarious performance. | ||
