No one gets that it's taking a shot at the internet community as a whole? Look at TL, whenever someone posts anything theres always going to be a hater saying its shit. It happens in every strat thread, music thread or... anything thread. Especially with kids today having the internet, its a strange issue where people can know pretty much anything really easily so they think nothing is special. Stan says "It's not my fault for seeing what it really is" during the movie, thats literally 99% of the haters defense on the internet.

Yea, it is the mid season break but i thought this season was pretty damn good. I cant say any episode was bad.

Was obvious the message they were going to send when I initially saw the title but the ending of the episode made me sad and I didn't expect something like that

Be interesting to see where they go when it comes back from the mid season break.

It's still possible that it could be the end. Just because they signed a contract doesn't mean they have to finish the season. At worst, Comedy Central sues Trey and Matt for breaking the contract; at best they just pay back half of whatever they were paid for the season (if they even got paid fully up front). I imagine Comedy Central would be pretty accommodating to two guys who made them a lot of money and who will very likely create more comedy in the future.

I kind of hope they say to hell with the contract and just end the series right now.

As someone who watched and enjoyed it from the very beginning, I can't think of a better way to end such a random and strange show than with a completely off-color and atypical episode, with everyone expecting it to continue on. It just seems incredibly "south park"-ish to me.

LOL this episode is great! I think alot of people watching south park are just getting old. They complain that this episode is preachy and all these episodes are shitty and repetitive but really we should be celebrating how far south park has come. The fact that southpark can make people sad or feel loss is amazing for a show like southpark. Its not a drama but people have such strong connections with the show.

Anyways I loved it. The music at the end and the duck was great!

As much as the end sucked, I laughed pretty damn hard throughout all the shit jokes. I dono, something about South Park and their fart noises just gets me.

I think Matt and Trey have stopped making episodes solely from their humor, and are instead worried about what the majority of people (because a fuck ton of people watch south park now) will think of it. I guarantee you, not to be a hipster, that 50% of todays south park viewers didn't watch seasons 1 through 4.. those plotlines were nothing special but they all meant something to matt and try (just watch their commentaries and youll see that they meant something).

I think they are 'unhappy' writing right now, because they want to write episodes about stuff they actually care about or genuinely want to make fun of, but instead have to worry about the massive population of people that have started watching south park in the last 2-3 years just based on its shock humor, and pop culture references.

Whatever, I think they need a break and hopefully realize this, and just write SOLELY for the show / their thoughts instead of how they think other people will judge the show. In the old episodes there wasn't just ONE funny thing that goes on in an episode (for example, this episode the 'funny' thing was the shit. the last episode the funny thing was the asian guy, or the human centipad).

as much as I want them to continue writing, i wouldn't really mind if they stopped. There's plenty of great episodes to watch that aren't solely about one funny vulgar thing.
