Really looking forward to it now

"C'mon kid you don't-a-ranna eat a shitty Sushi. It give you worms."
"Better than shitty kung-po chicken made from CAT!"
^ Made me laugh so damn hard.
Also the Janus references were pretty clever.
Can't wait for the next episode, I'm really liking south park this season.

Randy! Randy! Why do I get the feeling this episode is going to mock dubstep music?
|
Because dupstep is fucking annoying and should get made fun of, look forward to it.
|
This season is pretty bad so far, I have high hopes for tonight's episode though as I can see where they are coming from.
|
Oh man, it's a dubstep episode. I wonder how Idra'll feel,,,

it wasnt anything this episode was basically about nothing I'm scratching my head, especially after the half episode soliloquoy. I mean were we trolled or are trey parker and matt stone trying to sabotage southpark?

? i thought this season was funny.

WTF is "music like dubstep / skrillex". I'm 23, but I think I'm getting too old for this bullshit!
|
Uhm... well... it wasn't what I predicted? I don't know what to say about that one. Other than a few good Randy scenes I barely laughed

yea but this episode made no sense at all, seriously me and my friend were watching and were like this episode is shit. but then we were like wait we sound like the characters now lol, we both thought we were getting trolled. But overall the episode was total trash and when the marshes were talking about breaking up it seemed like trey parker and matt stone were speaking through them to us. and hence they were trying to break up with us.
but yea the episode was crap, but i have a suspicion that some behinbd the scenes stuff is going on either they dont want to make the show anymore; they trolled us; or lastly they wanted to piss off comedy central and make a crappy episode and send them a message?
anyone know if they have a twitter post explaining cuz this episode seemed really cryptic
edit: forgot to mention they did express interest in canceling the show many seasons ago (13 or 12 i think).

It seemed to me like this episode announced the end of the show. It's the mid-season finale, so maybe they're ending it here. I have to say, though, it was the best episode of season 15 by far.
|
Well Matt and Trey always talked about ending an episode on a down note, and to date they've never done it, so I guess this could be an attempt at that, or they're telling us that they've outgrown the series, or both, and doing it at the end of the half season really strengthens the impact.
I liked the episode on the whole, mostly because I really related to the cynical asshole bit, but I'm also left wondering what the ending means. They're still contracted through the next 7 episodes, but unless I see a press release or twitter or something I think this might be the end of the show.
Either that or we all got trolled.

Man... i related to this episode a lot....

That episode was more sad than funny. I really believe it is South Park's way of "introducing" the ultimate finale. Randy was my favorite character specifically because he was a kid at heart. But all those times he made us laugh by acting out his childhood desires was just setting him up for divorce. It feels like there's an "expense" now for all the funny moments Randy has brought us, and I'm kinda bummed by it.
|
Is this foreshadowing the end of south park? Strangest episode I've ever seen.
|
This is how I hope the Simpsons ends. Wouldn't it be crazy if after 20-some years they ended with Homer and Marge splitting up for real? I can't speak for you guys, but that would mean a lot more to me than the Marshes falling apart.
Really make me wonder about the second half of the season. Also, I related way too much the the cynical asshole stuff. Not hilarious, but a pretty good episode none the less.

The old men trying to save the britches was hilarious.
You can tell Sharon was talking about South Park as a series during the argument with Randy..
"It's like the same shit just happens over and over and then in a week it just all resets until it happens again. Every week it's kind of the same story in a different way and it just keeps getting more and more ridiculous"
That's how I've felt about a few episodes this season, particularly the homicidal german funny bot and the giant tooth decay monster. It seems kind of like they have been half-assing it and maybe they are trying to say they are getting tired of the show and want to move on..
|
To be fair the movie trailers for X-Men: First Class were pretty shitty, especially the Jim Carrey movie.
The episode was pretty good and I think a lot of people are like this, especially on the internet, including myself at times [see: above].

This episode left me confused...
Is this the mid season finale by any chance?
