And as long as swashbuckle still exists, who cares. And if you want something new, with the arab spring finally a lot of attention got the arab metal bands. And some of them are good in case you didnt know yet. Try some acrassicauda, kimaera, odious, hammercult, benevolent, d'hul qarnayn, shepherd of sheol, melecheshor, orphaned land (the only one of there I could see live so far) or damaar. Well most of them are not "heavy" metal, but most of the music in this thread is not classical heavy metal anyway. Interesting : While israel is included in the german wikipedia article about the arab world, it is not in the english one ... well for me israel is part of the arab world. I wrote the bands as they came into my mind, so who cares anyway. EDIT : good night. | ||

So I've liked metal for ages and Thrash metal is one of my favorite genres ever, but for some reason I had never listened to Sodom before and so I decided to give it a try and after this song: I was like wow O_O Why didn't I listen to this earlier... Oh I guess I could also add that Imaginaerum by Nightwish was a gigantic disappointment as expected, Storytime was the only good song, Ghost River was okay but the rest was total trash. Song of Myself seemed promising but then became shit. Really depressing how bad they've become when you consider some of their past works. | ||

The songs were decent but not close to what Nightwish was when Tarja was still there. | ||
