I was never really impressed with S4 except by his very high understanding of the game. To me, when it comes to raw skills, he's by a margin the worst player on Secret. Sometimes I don't understand Puppey's drafts. Seems like he's giving his team a slight handicap on purpose, just for the sake of "overcoming" something.

They already beat Cdec pretty decisively 2-0. Now that doesn't mean they will win and that doesn't mean this will be easy. But to say they will be steamrolled is to be hyperbole on the other end.

(I mean MVP still got mad props but Secret not so much) Did you see how many people put items on them winning?

best argument for secret staying together is that they don't really have any alternative Everyone that's played with him has complemented his captaining.

zyf playing razor in group b was such a masterful bait. Teams legitimately ban razor lmao.

God Im getting really bored of watching the same picks over and over.. Lina, Shaker, DS, Luna, rubick... ><
Was hoping for some diversity.

(I mean MVP still got mad props but Secret not so much) They made $800k. I'm sure after the tourney, they'll feel perfectly fine, lol.

I'm torn I want both teams to win. But for some reason it's ehome.
It would be awesome to see a double .cn finals again

VG's draft looks like crap already

DK showed signs of weakness heading in TI whereas Secret didn't really rub me that way with their consecutive lan wins but Secret's western all star dream team crumbled in a similar way I felt DK did during Ti4. truly a solid team and you can't argue their accomplishments leading up to ti but their exit was convincing.

Newsflash - it doesn't matter who wins TI now. 4 Chinese teams out of 6 are in top6 of the TI. Their motherfucking wild card qualifier secured top3, and the quals winner wiped down everyone's #1 hyped team to the LB.

I don't rate a Zeus pick, it makes sense that the winrate is low at TI. You're playing against the best teams in the world, do you really want a Zeus? The game is very likely to go into late game.

Fy had rubick stolen from him. Oh boy.

Now I'm sad Lanm+MMY aren't on the same team. The showdown between Lammy vs fyrir would have been so fucking epic.

GG Azarkon Watch West win it still. Doesn't matter, it disproves your theory that the Eastern scene is somehow weak. They're above where I thought they were but doesn't matter unless they win. I thought coming in that they were going to place in the first six but not the first three. They now have one team in the first three. But we still have to see whether they're able to go further.
The chinese are dominating this tournament and it doesn't even matter if EG win. Everyone who follows dota 2 knew EG was a legit contender and a top 3 team coming in, so them winning doesn't change the fact that the chinese have dominated this tournament one bit.

It does matter for the best team in the world.
