Look at Secret. You can even see how frazzled they are.

Imo secret playing not on their highest lvl is certainly one thing (self euls; winters curse on AM illu TWICE and so on...) is one thing but i think a bigger problem is that huge red dot on their forehead, which they are wearing at least since ESL ONE 2015.
I learned from this TI that it seems impossible to dominate in TI if you get in the enemy teams focus too much. Every one just analysed the shit out of secret. Propably watched the replays more often than secret did themselves... and it feels that on this lvl of play it is impossible to stand up to the focus YOU WILL GET FIGURED OUT. Ehome showed this and i bet they will get rekt by EG. So either you intentionally suck time and time again to losen the enemys focus on you (yeah it sounds ridiculous) or you question everything that made you successfull and start something new from scratch not really knowing if it works or not.

TL;DR: I'm sad!

Hahaha wake up to see Secret lost. I knew they would get figured out. Chinese will continue their domination.

Nice pocket strat by iG picking up the gyro first. Secret did not expect a gyro mid and hence did not ban AM. Furthermore Secret first picked Storm 2nd phase to try to deny the Ferrari storm. But iG baited this for the antimage last pick. What a draft by iG

I see IG recognize which hero actually won that game with their second pick.

This is just my 2k opinion, but both teams had good strategy, it just came down to execution, and split second positioning/decision-making. It's like EHOME yesterday. The Chinese teams seem to have figured out how best to deal with Secret.

People here saying that they let AM freefarm and pissed away the lead...that's not it. They had the rest of iG bottled in the base. The lead is only going to increase. So they wait for Arteezy to be six slotted, instantly go for Roshan, and then try for game-ending mid push. Meanwhile iG figures it out too. They don't try desperation smokes. You don't force fights when Secret has advantage outside the base. They have a line-up that can wombo combo to defend high ground from behind.

Once they held against Arteezy six slot, they can only narrow the lead from there. AM and Gyro has more late game than SF and Storm.

The really big mistake was rtz and s4 diving for the burning kill @ T3 mid. Got them both killed, and game was hard after that.

Why the hell would iG pick SF? SF has terrible, terrible win rate in the main event.
Time is precious. Waste it wisely.

Secret has to be on complete full tilt. They've been playing like shit on the main stage, and what worst to go out by getting 2-0'd by a team they've been destroying all year. Secret peaked way too early, and it looks like the Secret was exposed!
Getting too old for this..

Nice to see some more DS. It feels like a lot of teams undervalue him and value he brings to team fights.

Although why does no one buy aghs? The 120% damage illusions are fucking insane late game

Only kicks in if the enemy cores are building on pure stats. Maybe against the likes of Morph and CK.

Yes. Pick lategame heroes, wait for enemy team to royally fuck up.

Honestly, I feel that the Chinese have realized that they can't beat Secret's early and mid game so that is actually the best bet.

Look they're trying it again with Burning PL

yep. People keep saying it was burning alone, but chuan and luo hold their base with those vacuum + stun combos.

Did S4 just collapse? They're falling back on the Puppey draft in their darkest hour.

TBH if Puppey pulls this off he's a fucking god.
