Especially on s4. Yes, although their loss cannot be blamed wholly on s4's Viper, the hero had no contribution to their game. Just kept farming and then died in teamfights. What about Magnus for s4? He is good with the hero and it would provide much needed lockdown and 5man power.

Well, EG won a tournament over DK. For majority of bandwagoners that would be a good enough of a sign.

I don't know what they should've picked over viper. Silencer is not a free kill for Storm in any game. You get one of the best playmakers at this game and put him on a hero that just right clicks the entire game, on such an important game too. I mean even if it works its still a bad idea because he would've done better with basically every other hero.

Yea maybe I don't remember right but I'm pretty sure most people thought EG was the sole western hope last year. And they lost to IG in the last tournament before the big one. Going into last year, even I thought the West only had an equal shot at taking it. This year IS different. The West has not lost a single tournament in the last three months. It is going to be a Western year.
