There are rumours that opening the stream in a new window (button at the top right corner of the screen) and setting it to 720p (not auto) helps to make the stream...watchable. So we don't get the shitstorm happening on Reddit, it's pretty obvious joinDota doesn't have a choice about where they stream on.

Game wasn't anything exceptional, you're not missing too much. Na'vi had the advantage from the off and played well throughout.

I assume they made a nice advertisement for themselves... I am done trying to watch this, my eyes hurt from the quality switching into graining whole screen.

And if you are one of them you are kind of fine. Actually i managed to watch most of game one on OK stream, but then the stream application kind of restarted itself, and since then it's unwatchable.

Really though? Obviously JoinDota would just cast on Twitch if there weren't a sponsorship deal. Do you think they are going to shit on the streaming service when this is the case? I don't think there's anything the casters can do, and if See Me Play could make the viewing experience better I'm pretty sure they would.

I remember :| The redeeming factor is there will be 720p vods after the fact. I'm just going to get some work done and wait for them.

Don't just assume things. It is watchable for a lot of people, they are just calmly following the game instead of whining at forums/reddit/whatever. For me, it laggs a bit but nothing critical.
