Yeah..Either you go all in or don't go on him at all.. he was constantly being targetted by naix+storm combo but the rest were just so far behind that he tanked through their initial burst to get off his spells and just back off.

Having a hero that can farm against Dark Seer offlane is fine, but that DS is going to get a mek.. and then you got two supports who basically don't do any damage in the early game (Ogre and Rubick). Then as the laning phase ends, Dignitas might have a bit less farm on their Luna than they wanted to, but they had good levels on all of their heroes, much more overall damage output, better teamfight control with hex/cogs/vacuum surge, and a 250 heal for everyone from the mek. It was clear from the engagement just before Korok's rampage that TL just didn't have enough damage to kill the important heroes on Dignitas. Basically, TL wasn't ever going to win a teamfight unless their Storm/Naix got a pickoff. Which is pretty hard when all 5 of Dignitas' heroes are knocking on your doorstep. If you're gonna leave a ds to free farm then you should be able to draft a trilane that can secure a tower by a gank from mid around the 6 minute mark. ogre and rubick can't push at all so this is just not happening.

So not the end of the world, the hype's been really deflated today anyway with the delays. sad day for liquid fan. it finally hit me that they aren't as good as I wish they were. I still love you liquid but I'm sad. I'm not sure how liquid can expect to compete with china if they can't thoroughly manhandle NA. Then again mouz beat na'vi today and it's only a small online cup, but still.. :'( Mouz is a crafty team though, they can beat just about anyone although maybe not consistently. And of course Na'Vi isn't the same as they were before.

And competing with China..Lol just no...None of the western teams are anywhere close

They are one of the best teams in the western scene have been so for a very long time and they don't get nearly as much credit as they deserve. Hearing the west vs china arguments gets so old after awhile, we should wait until they meet at lan before we bash the western scene so much.

Around this time last year, Na'Vi wasn't looking very hot either, but the team just has what it takes to do well at big events.

The LAN experience of LoH and AA cannot be understated. I don't know how funnik is going to perform in that situation.
