Rooting for either Navi or Orange to win this. If Orange wins TI3, it will be a story of a team improving so much throughout the tournament (Mushi and kyxy have really stepped up alot). If Navi wins TI3, it will be about a class team performing in clutch moments. If Alliance wins TI3, it will be about a team that is the most prepared and a well deserved best team of the tournament.
All 3 teams are worthy of TI3 title I must say. I'm glad there's no Chinese teams around because honestly none of them have shown to deserve the title. May the best team win. I think all the underdogs of TI3 are really like-able, from NA DotA to Na`Vi to this run Orange is making, while Alliance is doing methodical domination of the entire scene that hasn't been seen since prime EHOME. I don't like Alliance but I don't hate Loda at all, the guy is a living DotA legend, I think he has a right to be cocky. Can't believe people still disrespect loda. There's probably not another player in ANY competitive game who's kept their performance up as long as he has. Imagine if Nada were still around winning tournaments. Loda is about as oldschool as you can get. i'd respect him a lot more if he didn't come off as a self important, self righteous jackass. what did he say to come across this way? is it his hat? His Twitter, his interviews, the general way in with the whole EE thing panned out. His foray between HON and Dota2. Loda's said and done a lot of "rude"/controversial stuff. Hell, he's going out with KellyMilkies...which gives people even more reason to dislike him. Thats just stupid. Kelly Milkies is fine, I have not seen anything that she had done that is worth the hate she gets. did you see her cast the GSL? Yes, I did and I didn't have a problem with it because I am a grown up and do not freak out about stuff like that. The amount of hate she gets is fucking stupid.

I mainly hated his face when he gave that roar in the player pod cam after beating Navi, as well as the roar after walking out of the pod during the end of the day highlights. I don't disrespect him as a player, because I acknowledge that he plays a very very solid carry suited for Alliance needs. But I just don't like him at all, and its again nothing to do with his plays,

Kelly ruined a few games for Tobi when they cocasted an SMM together a few years ago. She isn't the most popular for a lot of the older dota community.
There was also the whole dumping Moonglade before GSL qualifiers thing.

I think the only way for Orange to win is to find a way to activate the rat trap.
They need to force team fights continuously before Alliance feels comfortable doing so, and have the right composition to keep up the pressure. Definitely easier said than done lol. As shown from today's game vs Navi, they are willing to sac all T2 and just sit and stall and hold T3 until Loda riced enough to 5-man.

It's not like he walked off the casting desk...while leaving his co caster with no one to observe, without warning. Also he doesnt just stare at his phone, when his co caster looks to him for interaction.

And he got flamed a lot afterwards. That's why BTS got so popular so quickly. Tobi caught a lot of flack last year both during and after TI2.
I'm not trying to flame anyone, just trying to explain the "general" opinion a lot of people have towards her.

So the thing is I don't know if Alliance plays a boring DotA or that the meta is boring. Would Alliance's playstyle have worked if it were 6.73 or something? Is there something wrong with 6.78?
I mean Icefrog pushed and is trying to promote shorter, more aggressive games from the recent changes. The higher bounty/xp per kill encourages more aggression on kills and ganks right? So why do I feel these games are simply NOT as exciting to watch as it was before? I watched Wc3 DotA, I watched Chinese teams farm all day and maybe it's just the past maybe clouding my judgement but I don't remember it being as dull as the games i've been seeing across ti3.

That I agree with...but then, this is the interwebs, someone just has to do something remotely bad, and they turn into a super villain.
