Sounds like a pretty big advantage for Alliance (unless ping from China is good to USE? Can't imagine that being the case)

I don't see how they could get under like 250ms from China, if even. I mean 300 sounds optimistic to me, but I could be off.

But to be fair, you can't really make them play on USW just because Speed went to China.

As long as they are inside China, it almost doesn't matter where else in the world they play.

Well, there would be a way that it could be done outside China...possibly, but wouldn't be ideal. The Semis for G-League end on the 19th, which would allow a couple of days for the match to be played on Sunday, the 22nd, giving time to travel (if they want to and if ping is a major issue) and then possibly be back in time on the 23rd for the Fengyun DotA 2 tournament.

However, as stated before, that wouldn't be ideal as that jet-lag would be massive.

Anybody know yet when the finals will be?

I thought I saw Jan 13th, but that's also the same day that Speed Gaming gets back from China, so that doesn't seem right.

So qualifiers are split into 2 groups
Group A: Empire, Rox.Kis, The Retry, Relax

Group B: Next.kz, Power Rangers, Virtus Pro, Mouz

They round robin BO1s
Top team in each group gets into season 2.

Then, after the qualifiers the community gets to vote a team in, and the league officials pick another team.
(I imagine that's so VP keeps its spot since it helped organize the league in the first place.

Is it really tomorrow at 13:00 CET? Isn't Aui (or EE) living in the west of canada, which would mean that the time is like 4 am for him? Really curious if it's happening at a monday at THAT time.
