there should have been plenty of time to recover from jetlag by now, maybe DK is just a bit off or something, celebrating maybe? i'm sure they will be back soon though

well a few matches here and there don't really mean much, they looked like the strongest CN team before starladder. i'd wait a week or two more before making judgement!

DK drafted Dazzle/Treant first 2 EG style. I think they did this exact same opener against their last loss to Newbee a few days ago. They never prioritized these 2 heroes until after Starladder so it looks like Empire and EG have had negative influences on their draft. DK losing games in the exact same way that EG/Empire lost to DK at Starladder. I don't know if they are doing this on purpose to try to make this draft work or if Newbee just have DK's number.

No, they tried iceiceice Naga + Burning Gyro against Hao Lycan and Mu Puck that time. didn't work out.

DK expected Mushi SF vs Mu Ember, and traditional Burning Luna vs Hao Hard-carry.

Mu just thought he won't have anything of that and that DK's draft has zero means to oppose his signature TA.

The bottom line is, tri-core drafts are getting shut down hard, whether its in WPC or Dreamhack. This is a good thing and I hope it continues into 6.81

i think it's definitely good to try out drafts from other scenes every now and then so you know how to play it and therefore by extension how to play against it. sure a few losses might hurt you but in the long run you'll probably be a better team for it.
