Which hero will be my savior? Mana boots blink tiny, you still have some good late game potential. Ember spirit, storm spirit, QoP, SF, TA, lycan (wreck towers and rosh more than heroes), bristleback, tinker, invoker, doom, LC, enchantress, DK can all snowball out of control. If you're really a baller and totally embrace the idea of being way better than your mates, go carry lina. | ||

My gf loves playing lina as a carry but her game knowledge is pretty limited. As is mine I guess. She builds silly items like shadow blade, Daedalus, and I think she had an orchid that she literally forgot to use 100% of the time lol. I was destroyed once a couple months ago by a carry lina who had all of her teams first 11 kills. So anyway, how does she build? And thanks for the other recommendations. I'm gonna need to learn a few new heroes I think | ||

You can go maelstrom and blink instead of lothar, but in general, it's way to go with mixing hex/scepter with it just because of manapool. | ||

Shadowblade solves the "how do I get close enough to kill people" problem, as would a blink / euls / force. Crystalys (and eventually Daedalus) is a fairly cheap way to build up damage, which synergizes real nice with fiery soul's attack speed. Orchid works as an all-around "Hey, I get damage and solve mana problems!" even though lina doesn't immediately benefit from the silence. I used to play a phase boots -> euls -> BKB/MKB/Crystalys/Aghas/Whatever Lina, back in the day, but I don't know if there's a default "Carry Lina" build | ||

Disclaimer : This was when I started playing Dota 2. It might be the case that it's actually awful, and if that's the case then I apologize. But CM's mana aura makes Lina's early game less awkward, and crystal nova -> frostbite -> LSA -> Dragon Slave = ten hundred billion magic damage, plus right clicks. | ||
