is SingSing playing with Kaipi now ?????
I wouldnt be surprised if hes standing in for them since qpad is on the backburner until they get a full roster.

I usually skill slow over the disable as well, as it deals more damage and has a lot longer range. You pretty much never should be starting with a Gauntlet on supports. Three branches is virtually the same cost, and gives strictly better stats. The fact that a Gauntlet saves a slot and builds into Bracer doesn't matter here because if you're not making a Wand as a support, you're doing something wrong. The only time you should be able to afford buying a Gauntlet at the start as a support is if you have random gold, and even then, it's considered quite selfish given the number of other things you can and should buy for the team (Sentry, Smoke, Courier upgrade).

It makes last hitting a lot easier, and makes for a better laning phase, but my personal (limited) experience is that it's overly reliant on hitting good sunstrikes and has a huge trade-off in being less relevant during mid-game engagements. I guess it depends on team composition, but I generally see Invoker players mindlessly going exort builds (and proceeding to miss every attempted sunstrike from across the map).

Opening claws, branch and salve makes last-hitting pretty doable, I think, unless you're against a really high base damage hero (thus being composition dependent)...

Well... *stares at invoker's 36 base damage*. Seriously though, there are many many ways to play exort invoker. You can do pure exort, which prioritizes invoke>exort>quas>wex with 1 quas at level 4 and 1 wex at level 6. You can switch up the pure exort build by leveling quas once you hit 4 exort to unlock double forge spirits sooner. Or you can be a hipster and go completely wex-less until level 11, which honestly imo is the best way to play invoker because you can get level 2 quas super early (which is a huge upgrade to cold snap, and +10 seconds duration on forge spirits to help you last hit/deny runes/harass), and gives you the fastest double forge spirits.

Preferably ranged or one with a stun that goes through BKB since luna runs SUPER FAST and can kite most melee heroes. Otherwise, heroes like Beastmaster and Bane can target luna with their ultimates and prevent her from doing anything in fights, even if she has a BKB. Note that her ulti won't stop if she starts it and you stun her though. It really isn't about "luna" its about dealing with heavily farmed carries. The solutions are: BKB-Piercing disables (beastmaster, bane, batrider ultis are some of the best) as well as having comparable amounts of farm on a carry of your own (preferably vastly more farm but that isn't always something you can manage).

@below: the problem is actually obtaining similar farm to a luna when she can farm super fast with glaives while being immensely useful early game with her beams, aura and ulti(which is something that the likes of troll/void can't possible hope to compete).

in a teamfight however things will be different. bkb abyyssal are pretty much necessary on the other carry and heroes that have spells that goes through bkb will help.

I would like to know why, in competitive games, most of the time, both tri-lanes are botlane, even for the Dire team. I would have imagined it will be top for Dire, to deny the hardlane and loose your own hardlane. Thanks (i dont know if i made my self clear, if not, i am sorry !)

Possibly because roshan is closer to bottom. Also, in my opinion, dire bottom lane has a safer layout. Wrap around ganks are in view of any roshan ward and the jungle there is much more open compared to top lane.

Sometimes pros run an aggressive tri-lane on their hard-lane to try to get kills and deny the enemy carry farm (through heavy pressure/threat of kills). If you notice, the tri-lanes that are ran in the hard lane usually have a lot of early game damage and kill potential. It's an attempt to "counter" the enemy's defensive tri-lane. I don't think it happens most games though.

It's actually a lot better to run an aggressive trilane as the radiant since you have access to that hard camp you can pull/deny creeps for some additional xp to your supports to prevent falling behind too much.

I hear people talk about what skill bracket they are playing in (High, very high etc) with matchmaking but I'm unaware of any objective way of telling. So my question is what do they use to determine their skill bracket?

You need to click the Watch Tab in the client, go to recent games, then type your name in the filter and they have another option to filter by skill. Search each skill bracket to see where your games are.

I love you (<3) for your often and super helpful responses, but I'm not sure about this, especially if you're going to be getting some jungle pull farm and building urn. Even more-so if you have a friendly other support so you don't need to get wards+courier off the bat. You cant buy 4 branches with a Tango, Salve and Clarity. And you might not even have been building a wand!
