What's most important is that the thought of a visage with an aghanims and a refresher entering a fight with familiars on cooldown and all 3 familiars up, then proceeding to chainstun members of the opposing team for 13.5 seconds makes me laugh and laugh and laugh. So, anyone actually smart have an answer for this guy? i'm curious too ^^ He's great in lanes, but not very mobile. He doesn't gank well (not very fast move speed), so he won't stop a jungler or pressure their mid/other lane. Also sudden ganks that make the numbers lopsided hurt him.

dotabuff still works. if the numbers show that od's most popular build is maxing orb, then it just means that the majority of players who use dotabuff dont know how to play od. od will win the lane vs silencer btw

KotL recall brings them to KotL right, not where he cast it? So you can cast it in fountain then TP to a tower and they show up at the tower?
Pretty sure this is right, but I'm at work and can't check

Yes, it brings the hero to KotL when the teleport delay finishes.

Hey. Pretty n00b question inc.
So I'm by no means a vet, I've only played around 120 games or so and the majority of those was in a support/utility role with ranged heroes. But to keep the game fresh I've recently been trying some melee heroes and it's been fun.
My simple question is: When I'm using the armlet on a hero like Lifestealer, when is it smart to activate it/deactivate it? It feels like I'm doing it often at inopportune moments and dying because of it. I know that obviously it's good to have it on in a big creep wave or in a teamfight but what about when I'm chasing someone down or about to gank?
Thanks for your help!

use it whenever youre hitting something. its especially good on lifestealer because his feast pretty much negates the health loss. when youre not hitting something, turn it off. if its in the middle of the fight and youre chasing someone, you want to leave it on so you dont suddenly lose a bunch of hp though. if its not a hero like lifestealer, use it whenever you feel that you can benefit from its bonus and get away with having less than full hp (i.e afk farming/split pushing). otherwise, just build a lifesteal item (sven with armlet/mom is legit).
the only exception to all this is if you want to abuse armlet toggling, by constantly boosting your hp to like 400 or thereabouts when youre just about to die. refer to pretty much any wodota/dotacinema top 10 vid for scenes of this cause it comes out so damn much.

You can make a custom game in -wtf mode and practice it.

Feel like id be a million times better at invoker if i could do this competantly i think u mean deafening blast lol and do what the above poster said. with euls its easier because the cyclone time is always the same, so just pause for a very brief moment and then throw the meteor and the sunstrike together. deafening blast comes just a tiny bit after, so that it hits him as soon as he lands. tornado is the same except you have to adjust for its cyclone time

If you have a team's pennant equipped, you can receive item drops while watching their tournament games, similar to people with compendium's watching The International games. For more info see http://www.dota2wiki.com/wiki/Pennant ----------------------------------------------------- My question, I picked Nightstalker for the first time yesterday and was laning vs an Axe mid. With him tanking the creeps (Counter Helix hurts), and constant Battle Hunger spam I lost the lane pretty bad... any tips for going melee (specifically Nightstalker) mid vs Axe?
