Thanks for clearing that up, I was extremely curious as to why the tower would sometimes try to hit me when there are several creeps in front of me.

To me that usually happens when the creeps aggro an enemy hero or enemy creeps, so when the tower re-evaluates targets suddenly you're the only one hitting the tower which makes you its priority over closer creeps that do random stuff.

Yes. Chaos damage is special because it does 100% damage to all armor types (except fortified, has to be one exception!). It is still subject to the damage reduction from armor.

The only difference between Chaos-type damage and Hero-typed damage is that Chaos damage does 10% less damage to Fortified armor.

what do these items do? The ones i win after a game?

any tips/tricks for identifying heroes from creep? They all kinda look the same..

Items are purely cosmetic. They just make your hero look cool/show off your e-peen.

Play more games I guess?

Presumably in the situation where you got a late rune and saved it, and then another one spawned which you wanted to use immediately, while keeping the first.

Pretty narrow window lol.

? if you were playing dota1 i could understand but dota2 ? Heroes are bigger and they dont look the same.

It's actually quite easy to deal with this if you want to keep attacking the tower even when enemy creeps have reached it and your allied creep stop attacking the tower. Just make sure you stop attacking the tower by moving or some such whenever it kills an allied creep, that way it will aggro another allied creep instead of you and you can keep attacking the tower. It only focuses you if you are attacking the tower during evaluation, you are free to attack it as long as it's busy with something else.

while playing yesterday evening, i realised that euls scepter cannot be used to send allies up in the air. i seem to remember that this used to be the case and it takes a lot of the items utility away. is my memory just flawed or was this changed some time recently? what are your thoughts on it?

it'd actually probably need to be nerfed a lot if you could use it on allies

It used to be the case, and was changed for balance reasons.

IIRC it was changed as part of the 6.50 remake that split Eul's from Guinsoo's and took Eul's off using charges.

I faintly remember being able to Euls allies loong after it was split off from Guinsoo. I suspect it was a later change.

Not really strategy related:

Questions to all SE-Asia players... why is the ping 200 plus last month up to now?
Everyone was used to having below 100 ping but since last month, it became really high?

Why did this happen? If they're going to fix it, when?? Anybody got a link? I can't seem to google it.

WTF I thought euls was supposed to be able to activate on allies T_T

Thats pretty much the only reason i loved it. Like a slightly weaker disrupt, incredibly useful.
Can I still use it on myself?
