Question: On PL, what should I get as a 6th slot? (after diffusal, manta, BoT, heart, bfly). And should I ever get rid of diffusal? 36 damage isn't that much compared to what a DPS item would give, or is the mana burn enough to keep it?

Mana burn is a must as you can burn all the mana of a hero in a few seconds with so many illus.
Next item would be crit, probably the best 6th item for carries.

Never get rid of diffusal, even buy another one if you're out of charges

There are actually a lot of options for that 6th slot. Crit, MKB, Skadi, second Heart, AC, Abyssal, etc. It depends on the game.

Abyssal is only good if all your team is poor, doesn't have disable and they have something like a void. It's the last thing i would consider to buy on PL. I would buy sheepstick instead of ab.
|
abyssal is much much much much x1000000000000000000000000000000000000 times better than a sheepstick on pl.

Should Tranquil boots active heal interrupt when i get hit by neutral creep? It actually got interrupted if i got hit by any larger neutral like bigger centaur or satyr. At small camp where are only small creeps it worked just fine. It might be something to do with recent minipatch (15mb or something) who knows? I played Axe, if it means anything. Dunno any proper place to post this so decided to post it here if someone could make me wiser.

It doesn't give your illusions anything. It gives you a bash/melee superbash. You don't exactly need damage at this point either. Sheepstick is a ranged hex, gives you mana (that you can lack in an extended fight). Hex disables evasion. But sure you do make a point with your arguments. Yes tranquil boot can break facing neutrals if the damage is >20 after reduction and always disabled on illusions.

They are supposed to break when the damage is above a certain threshold, which is below the big creeps damage but above the small ones and the lane creeps.

Tranquils boots break if you take more than 20 damage post mitigation. It was a parity fix a few patches ago.
Tranquils will break on all the large camps besides the troll warlord. Centaurs and wolves will break your tranquils as well.

EDIT: Late response, and Erasme said it already.

do you assume the hero you have trouble killing with a 5 slot pl doesnt have a bkb? and why would anybody not get a mkb if they are facing evasion and get a hex instead?

Thx, just checked the same thing, was just thinking it only occurs when i get hit by tower or hero like it says in dotawiki or atleast i understood it that way.
E: this is what it says in Dota2 Wiki: "Restores 250 HP over 20 seconds for the wearer. If you take damage from a tower or another player, the heal is lost. The tooltip incorrectly states that Roshan will cancel the heal. " "Notes: Break will not trigger if the damage is less than 20 after reductions. " http://www.dota2wiki.com/wiki/Tranquil_Boots

They won't break if the damage is less than 20 (after reductions). I think since they recently got changed it's only the small camp they won't break on (in jungle), prior to that you could get away with it a lot more.

And it's not just Evasion. There's a long list of passives that Hex disables, including all Auras (basically any passive that has a base ability that is a hero ability in WC3).
I think it depends a lot on the game. Sheep has its place, although both choices are probably going to be less common than Skadi, Crit, MKB, or AC, IMO.

what would your 6 slot pl have? mine would be defusal bot heart butterfly mkb/manta (depends on if enemy has butterfly) abyssal.
abyssal is much more effective against/on heroes like am and pl because after 5slots their attackspeed is insanely fast and bash cast/procs completely turn fights. sheep on hard carries is a gimmick move in games where you cant lose anyways.

It could be some high priority target like warlock or magnus. And as I said sheep/ab is only good when your team lack disables. You need to read people posts.

you need to learn to accept it when you are wrong. sure most items are situational but there isnt a situation where sheep would be better than abyssal on heroes like pl.

For the record, I saw a PL get sheepstick in a Starladder match yesterday, QPad vs next.kz. Game Details:
QPad Lineup: Rubick, Magnus, AM, NP, Leshrac Next.KZ Lineup: TA, PL, Bane, KOTL, Clockwerk
PL Items: BoT, Manta, Butterfly, Heart, Diffusal, Sheep AM Items: BoT, Manta, Butterfly, MKB, Daedalus, Abyssal

As always, you state your opinions as fact without backing them. Or am i too bad to understand ?
