Press the Attack has a 0.83s backswing. You can cancel it, but even if you do, you have to get through 2 0.3s frontswings, which is more than enough time for an enemy to react. This also isn't including the Lothar's breaking autoattack which adds in even more time. This is why Blink is generally preferred over Lothar's on LC--if you aren't taking advantage of the Lothar's breaking hit, there's not really any advantage to using Lothar's over Blink when you don't get the extra damage and can't pre-buff PtA before hand. It depends on level/relative net worth. The base value of an assist is higher for low #s of involved heroes, the level-/networth-based scaling is higher when many heroes are involved. | ||

If it's impossible, do you ulti right out of invi or still attempt W? 2) Due to gold sharing in assists, is it better (i.e. does team gain more gold in total) to have more people around a kill or worse? there's no way to get ulti instantly out of w, but if you attack to break blink, w yourself, and ulti, you'll probably get it off against anyone who doesn't have force staff, glimmer, or some sort of skill to move themselves (or stun on you... attack people with stuns from behind so they have turn rate issues) for the second question, since this change in the last patch: Reduced the direct hero last hit bounty by 100 and redistributed that gold into AoE gold (in ratio of 100/75/40/25/20 for 1/2/3/4/5 heroes) having 2 people gives 50 extra gold and having 3 people gives 20 extra gold for some reason... so 2 man ganks are the most ideal but just by 50 gold, which is pretty insignificant | ||

For most of the game you'd be looking at a total time of around 0.9-1s. Even accounting for turning time and ping and with perfect animation canceling, it's still largely infeasible to get all 3 off against someone with reasonable reactions. It's not counting the existing base value or the level- and networth-based additions to assist gold. The level-based and networth-based factors in assist gold scale differently for each possible number of assisting heroes, so what produces the most gold varies based on those. | ||

1.5) depends on the hero and situation. ogre for instance has a slow cast animation so u can pta if necessary. lion has an instant hex so u cant really get away with it. also versus tankier heroes u might have to pta to win the duel, whereas versus squishier ones it doesnt matter 2) generally more heroes, not sure on specifics tho | ||

I thought that psi blade simply splash to all units in a narrow and long rectangle (whose width = spill width) behind the primary target? How does the angle between TA and the primary target matter? | ||
