Oh seriously shut up. NoTail trying to throw shade at another team because he didn't read an amil is a new low, even for him. Alliance used PPD as a coach in game for 2 games. Against Brame (loss may I add) and against Tundra (win). Your NoMail got thoroughly squashed like the illiterate sore looser he is WITHOUT coach. It's not cheating, but I guess you are right. Beating OG is not impressive.
Calm down and relax! Maybe you dont have to throw shit arround yourself then! NoTail went way to far with the way how he criticized Alliance and i would agree that he owns them an apology and some words of clarification. This whole dilemma should have been handled in a professional manner, behind the scenes, with valve, the TO's and teams finding a suitable agreement. Obviously, thats not how it went down, which is a shame. It just once again shows that after 10+ years of this game with so much money involved, valve still gets away with giving a shit about the professsional infrastructure of this game. If there is anyone to blame, its them first, the TO's second. From this point of view, there really is no reason to put any blame on Alliance and thats mostly where the puplic opinion is.
However, there is a second point of view: Sportsmanship!!! I am pretty sure, none of Alliance players actually likes the Idea of playing with a sixth person, who observes the game and gives tactical input. I honestly cant imagine anyone who plays Dota on a professional level likes this idea, as it totally changes the dynamic of the game for the players. From this point of view, i dont like how Alliance handled this Situation. I see why they did it, it wasnt something they werent allowed. Yet, i think it was shitty move!

Actually Sapaio deserves it for coming here spewing shit. I don't come crying in the OG thread about NoTails lies.
I don't like the idea of a 6th player either. I choose to belive that Alliance was testing it out. 'Hey, we can now do X, let's see how much of an impact it has'. Other players have posted that they knew about it, it wasn't a secret.
I am glad it's now gone and hopefully stay gone. There's alot to be said about Valve and their handling of the Dota2 game. It's heartbreaking. :/

Can't see why I am not allowed to comment on how Alliance won the games. I said it was not cheating clearly. Just said that in was not impressed by the results after I found out how the made them. Can not see any reason why not to discuss it here. I am pretty sure Alliance knew they had advantage and kept it secret, if they were so proud of it, they would have told everybody what they did. It's within the rules but poor poor sportmanship by them. You can hate on OG all you want.
On a side note this shows Alliance has better management then the seven other EU teams and actually read mails even if they are long and boring. And it reflects bad on ESports management and organizers and shows they have a long way to go

I was under the impression they did NOT hide it? And they actually did tell ppl what they were doing? maybe i missed something.
Anyway. They played really well even tho they had help with shotcalling. Their synergy is on top right now. Hope it really sticks. Love seeing them play these days. And major playoff! awesome

That's one of the things I find hilarious. EVERY team got the email. Alliance posted it in their VLOG.
And yet they are accused of keeping it secret because they were the only one that knew about this.

I'd be mad too if only skimmed my work-related mail and skipped some stuff that would have made my job easier. I just don't get why n0tail blamed Alliance instead of himself.
I mean Limp talked about it in an interview, that really doesn't fit the bill for "trying to hide". I also don't see how doing something that is allowed within the rules is bad sportsmanship, trying your hardest to win in every situation is imo precisely what taking your enemy seriously is about.
On a side note OG are the kings of bad sportsmanship, they play with their opponents all the time if they have an advantage to the point where they'll pick shit in tournament finals to ridicule their opponent if they feel that said isn't up to par.

Almost time Just a few days. Hype!
Also, would be nice with an updated picture on the front page!

Tough start for Alliance. Playing against LGD in the first round of the upper bracket, probably the hardest team to beat at the moment, all eyes on Peter "Leave China to me" Dager and if he is able to surprise the Chinese Juggernaut with their drafts.
|
Yea the road to the upper bracket finals look real tough. Plenty of good games ahead

i really hope niko can find another team that suit him

That was a beatdown...holy moly.

They started out good in both games too. :-(

This sunrazgriz dude confusing me every single time... hes using that [A] flag reguardless since there is no player in [A] he ever liked... Where were you when they qulified for major? come on, you aint [A] fanboy, you dont care about [A] either, you are just S4 hater, every time he underperformed, u jumping out and talking some shit randomly.
|
That was pianful to watch. I kinda assumed they were behind LGD, but not with that much. I hope that they bring their agame tomorrow. If they with that they are guaranteed TI, as far as I can tell.
|
out played + out drafted from one of the best tier1 team in the world, hope they get stronger tomorrow.
|
unfortunately i expected this... i think LGD atm is the best team out there, really unlucky to face them at first round.... then i see series like Noping vs Quincy Crew and i don't know what to say... meh...
