maybe we could have held that push though if I had the glimmer cape and my cores weren't tilted and flaming each other, I imagine e. also it just struck me that if a player's rank can't go down and is shown at the pick screen, boosted players get like 3x their money's worth maybe this is a conscious effort to put boosters out of business

The "hardcore" players are the ones who keep a game alive, but casuals probably contribute more financially given their number.

More seriously, I feel like people overbuy the battlepass in relation to how much they still play Dota

TI season is in the middle of the summer video game famine, so it sort of makes sense.

I have two Neptunia games for that part of the year planned, for instance.

Due to vacationing I couldn't even properly predict and do my fantasy team either. e: I'm watching the boulder World Cup in Chongquing and the interview after the womens' finals has the 3rd placed slovakian (I think) climber talk about her managing to hold onto the boulder the one time she almost slipped off seconds before time runs out but managed to recover. And I'm like, how does she speak such good German, interesting, might've learned that in school. Seconds after I realize the interview is in English. All along. I don't know how my brain interpreted that as German, but that was funny

There is literally no other game nearly as big as dota that cares less about new player experience and makes decisions based on what the hardcore invested players want. Literally none. And you still have people posting shit like that. It's ridiculous how retardedly elitist people in this community are. This is one also amkes me laugh: On May 09 2018 20:46 HwangjaeTerran wrote: waow who woulda thunk e. how can the battlepass sell more than ever when the playerbase is half of 2016 have they reduced the playerbase to those prone to gamble? literally mobile game? It's not like the game isn't praised or awesome, and just because there's criticism doesn't take away from that. I don't know why you're so upset or how my comments came off as elitist in a toxic way when the recent change has legitimately had a negative impact on the game in some areas.
