Pick up as many bonus energy relics as possible. Ideally il have at least two for the final boss. Battle trances will remove the bottle neck in the hand size caused by high energy + 0 cost clashes. I dont mind picking fights with mobs in the hope of finding the cards i need for my deck. reds passive helps mitigate the attrition anyway | ||

By far the most fun I've had in the game was when I had Corruption (Ironclad power that makes all your skill cost 0, but you exhaust them when you play them) and the Dead Branch relic (whenever you exhaust a card, add a random card to your hand). Also a bunch of different exhaust cards, some that gave me extra energy (Seeing Red, etc.), drew cards and 3 exhumes (skill that lets you get an exhausted card back to your hand). It was so funny, whenever I played Corruption I would usually win on the spot or the turn after. All skills cost zero and draw you a card that has around 50% chance to also cost zero, and some of them also draw you cards and give you extra energy. Also had a turn 1 kill deck on Silent. Had a small deck that included 2 Calculated Gamble+ (0 energy, discard your hand and draw that many cards) and 2 Reflex+ (whenever you discard it, draw 2 cards) adn Eviscerate (dos damage and gets cheaper for every card you discarded on the turn). So I would just gamble, discard reflexes, draw more cards than before, eviscerate and repeat. It's how I got the 'kill a boss in one turn' achievement. Still would've lost to Timeeater if I got him, tho. Hate that fucker. | ||
