Huh, I look at the menu cuz Im generally interested in snitty seafood and no salmon tsk tsk. Also I didnt even know there was "norwegian king crab" still. thought it was a russian/alaskan thing only pretty much. And arctic char is a fancy sounding name for a lake bound dolly varden (type of trout that we have in alaska and im sure other places) the only reason i mention is because they have "smoked trout" but dont say what kind, then specify the char. seafood marketing names are funny, but im guessing it means the "smoked trout" is farmed, Also "icelandic cod" over alaskan cod and im somewhat curious if the "halibut" is actual pacific halibut or one of the many other (cheaper) flatfish that people call halibut sometimes. Similarly im curious if the shrimp/scallops are wild sourced, but I kind of doubt it. Maybe the scallops. Shrimp are almost certainly farmed.
looks pretty sweet though. good luck have fun! no 2-star restaurants within 3000 miles of me, sad days.
dotas been so bad last few days I install sc2 and am playing through all campaigns. I dunno what that means. I mostly just want new Diablo3 season
It's contemporary/"New Nordic Cuisine". Salmon isn't in season.

That's for the endgame and I agree.
Though for new players the perspective differs. With Poe you need way longer to gain access to the endgame as a newb in contrast to diablo, where the story guides you through the first playthrough rather nicely, imo.
Personally. I hop into d3 every couple of years and play the campaign once, maybe get some uniques afterwards and do a cookie cutter build and do some grifts. Then wait a couple of seasons
d3 looks and plays better for my taste I get that gameplay >>>>>> gfx but honestly if im going to be using the same 2-6 skills for the next month or so I'd prefer that they look dope
I also didn't play much d2 so that probably explains why I don't like playing poe much
PoE you have to have a decent understanding of a looooooot of mechanics to play around with any builds, and even with those decent understandings toying with builds is a solid investment of time and coin.
D3 you don't really need to know shit to make something of a build that does okay.
If you had to play one ARPG for the rest of your life, PoE wins easy. It's the "better game"... but being able to appreciate that better game is behind a wall of understanding and time.
I'm not sure it's just understanding and time. PoE still has some flaws. The tree system would be more interesting if it wasn't so focused on getting every single life node you can. The game is all about surviving one bit hit coming out of nowhere.
And leveling is a big annoying when every build is about using SRS or Sunder until you get to maps, buy the items you need to actually play what you want to play and switch skills.
I would probally play PoE over D3 most of the time, but I'm not sure it's that clearcut the better game for everyone that would take the time to learn it.
For me, it's gotta be watching high skilled competitive Heroes of Might and Magic 3. I also play online, but I'm not nearly as good as the truly great players. The game is actually amazing, I wish there was a bigger community around it.

In day9's 'A Brief History of Esports' he claims that " over half the population of the entire country [South Korea] was playing Starcraft on a regular basis". Right here: Does anyone know how correct that statement is? Because I call bullshit on that, big time. I would be very amazed if half the country knew what the game was, there is ABSOLUTELY NO FUCKING WAY over half the population played the game, let alone 'on a regular basis.'
I wouldn't be surprised at all if half the country knew what the game was.
Half the population playing on a regular basis should be bullshit though.
That's the kinda of bullshit that probally comes from misleading playerbase numbers. Like those 40 million people checking ESL Genting through facebook adds.
Maybe 50% of males aged 5-35, but half the entire country? Might be bullshitting by conflating a percentage who heard of SC or watched it with playing. After all, it is an Intel ad for promoting e-sports, so they'll play loose with the facts to present e-sports as this phenomenon that occupied South Korea, when it actually isn't really that popular beyond a certain demographic.

D3 also has built-in respeccing, while I think you need to roll a new character for PoE?

I think mine may be playing Mabinogi. I'm a huge fan of watching Comeh stream, technically that's niche? cecek would you count me having a vndb account as a niche online activity?
