All is good in P6 land, except Gloomhaven is $200 on Amazon again. I missed the last shipment of copies I guess.

the picture of the game had a 199.99 price tag LOL ok bro Also actual (esports) lawyer posted about the ESL situation on reddit: "ESL doesn’t have the legal right to have content removed from Twitch based on alleged infringement of IP rights it doesn’t hold. The underlying gameplay made available via DotaTV is owned by Valve, not ESL" :/

We were given two choices for articles to read on what the police are, and debated it today. One said whites made an alliance to perpetuate racial inequality through the police and that they must be abolished. They also perpetuate poverty across racial lines, and are not necessary to society. The other said the police are the hand of the law, characterized by their ability to use force and respond to any situation that is needed, additionally sometimes dictating how the law works. There were 16 kids in the class. One kid did not read either one. Guess how many kids read the first one. + Show Spoiler + Answer: + Show Spoiler + 14, I was the only person who read the second and had to debate the rest of the class, including an actual sjw

The DMCA claim is made against them, not the streamer. Youtube and Twitch then take down the content because they are not going to bat for the streamer. Because why? Host your own shit on your own server and you can litigate and enjoy due process like everyone else. Use youtube/twitch, enjoy feudalism and live under the rules of the land they own. Side note: the who “streaming a video game and talking over it” is completely untested in relation to Fair Use. Most attorneys who know the law think it is a good case for Fair Use, but the courts are silent on the subject due to a lack of real litigation being appealed to the federal courts. No one should act like it is a sure thing, because we have no idea how that ruling would come down. H3H3 won a lawsuit last year that stated their videos are their own, even though their content is commentating other's people videos. + Show Spoiler + I don't know how far you can stretcht to gaming streams though

Florida, for instance, doesn’t even collect data on the use of lethal force.

It is one of the problems with the narrative around police reform. It isn’t a national problem. But police departments make it into a national issue to shield themselves. The LA PD is not the Boston PD is not the Dallas PD. Chicago’s problem are not Baltimore’s problems.

The net result seems to be that departments that are good report their data, departments that suck or are abusivr resist reporting.
