It can remove like 20-30 seconds in respawn time? I mean that falls under the category of "technically a bug because DotA 1 doesn't work that way, but could feasibly be called intended, because it's not completely outrageous or nonfunctional". In fact, 99% of "bugs" fall into that category. If Riot had a bug like that, they'd probably call it intended for the time being then retract that when they finally get around to fixing it. As opposed to Valve maintaining the ridiculously long KBL that never gets fixed. I dunno - this bug seems kind of outrageous. IIRC the idea is that aegis removes a BB CD that you have - it seems somewhat gamebreaking in certain situations.
Its a pretty bad one IMO
i'm gonna write an email to icefrog.

And we actually need statistics in order to yea or nay this.

It's less outrageous than the bug where respawning in range of one of your illusions causes all auras you carry to become nonfunctional on you from when the illusion times out until your next death.
Like the Aegis bug is obviously more impactful to a real game, but it's less "weird" in a way where it could be written off as an intended interaction by a lazy developer.

Number of employees does not equal coding talent. They have tons of people, but how many of them are base coder that can program the game from the ground up. My firm has tons of attorneys, but that doesn't mean every single one of them can go up to the MA Supreme Court and argue a case(we have 3 who can and have). Raw numbers does not mean you can just make shit happen.
That being said, both dota and LoL are buggy messes. Its just more charming when its Dota because, well, it dota.

It is but the combination of fewer game breaking since Dota blew up combined with the fact that most tournaments aren't volvo-approved gives it a different feel.
Does TI have rules about how teams should report bugs in-game and whether games will be replayed and stuff? If they do the community is definitely less aware of them. Either way I'd say that the community's expectations when it comes to bugs are very different. Valve also helps this by typically being quick to fix large bugs when they happen in big pro matches.
and ya obviously the replay system has issues but afaik Riot's primary line at this point is that league is expanding so quickly we just cant hold all these players so no replays servers will die

? NIP and BU are the same tier of team aka irrelevant pubstack tier

What do you mean "since Dota blew up" - TI1 had a million viewers for a broken game, and even now the playerbase for Dota2 is smaller than Dota at its height

You actually need to measure that by dollar/playtime hour to get a measure of each player, because otherwise you don't properly calculate their cost burden on Riot servers.
Also, we still need real statistics instead of guesswork.
