there's another NPR station that I barely get and they aren't having a donation drive right now by some miracle maybe john boner hasnt cut their funding ANYWAY I listen to it instead during the commercials like a radio pirate
did anyone else think 'guerilla radio' (rage again the machine but let's be real we all know it from tony hawk videogame) said something about pirate radio as a kid.
also I'm still convinced that the voices in the background of 'the circle of life' are chanting about a penguin on their bottom

rofl PL didn't win that fucking d2cl game, that shit was thrown by NiP so unbelieveably hard

Comeh, if you like NPR, you should listen to Pop Culture Happy hour. Its a pretty good show to find cool stuff you didn't know about. The hosts are awesome and will talk about anything, including terrible, terrible movies. Its pretty light compared to NPRs other shows.

Besides maybe Puppey pauses. So we can conclude that Puppey is the worst thing to happen to DOTA2.
But holy fuck that bug sounds awful, not even Bugstone had shit that bad.

Also, there was a blog by Valve about pretty much the same issue happening in dota not too long ago. Am I just being Romanian?

I don't think it cost anyone games, did it?

i've never had that happen ever

the fountain hooking thing is arguably worse because it was an intentional abuse of game mechanics that occured in a game that actually mattered instead of some random regular season game that's completely shruggable

Isn't there a huge bug with aegis + bb CD penalty right now? It can remove like 20-30 seconds in respawn time?

The worst thing that happened in LoL was actually the beyond epic "greatest bo3 in the history of esports" in which a combination of shitty internet and the fact that pauses were actually broken in the LoL engine caused a Bo3 series between WE and CLG to take 7 games and a week to complete during LoL S2 Finals

also funniest dota 2 bug was the 18 hours of my life i spent watching aui retrieve his ET spirit from the rosh pit at dreamleague
fountain hooking was legit
I've been thinking about this a bit recently though, bugs in pro games feel different to me in League because the vast majority of pro games are Riot run. So Riot is in this weird situation (imo) where they are "responsible" for the bug but at the same time they're responsible for determining whether the bug should be considered game breaking and whether games should be remade etc (and they have pretty clear rules for how teams should deal with noticing a game impacting bug iirc).
With Dota it feels like for the most part the onus is on pros to understand bugs/what causes them/their potential for abuse and the expectation is that bugs will be abused by pros until banned (that stupid quelling PL bug and the xboct situation) or removed from the game (pretty sure nobody was taken too seriously calling for a remake of the fountain hook game). Whereas in the case of league because of the combination of more bugs and such heavy Riot control there's a much more general expectation from the community that Riot will remake games that potentially have game breaking bugs.
THIS POST PROBABLY DOESNT MAKE THAT MUCH SENSE I JUST WOKE UP

hmm good point that ET spirit bug was a definite case of "game no work pls fix"
