At no point did I say that Charlie had to do all of this himself. Literally not possible. The hold up is likely Amazon and them reviewing the process or looking into the Chinese laws regarding prize money paid to a foreign national.

I don't recall the exact payout structure for DAC, but getting payment info and stuff from the teams should definitely be something done in advance.
Again, if he can't convince Amazon to be a bit more forthcoming with their payment and get better terms for his players he just maybe isn't that great a manager.

Lawyers do shit if you pay them, Charlie and the Amazon tax people work for the same boss. Its not the same. And from experience, if you come to an attorney with a lot of hypothetical stuff like "if we win and get this much money" they will tell you to come back when its real. They don't hand out legal advise until they can review everything because they are on the hook for malpractice if they fuck up.

But plz, tell me more about what attorneys and when they will give you advice. Its like me telling eieio how software bugs work.
