yeah i suppose it has to be german
i still have to find what i want to write about in particular but it has to revolve around the historical perception concerning nationalism in poland/germany between ~1600 to 1945
ill probably write some shit about the german order and the perception of tannenberg/grunwald

thats pretty easy. quick look through JSTOR will give you literally thousands of articles on a subject that wide.
You have to write my paper on the relationship between Turkish nationalism and Islam post-ottoman empire though.

i know its more of a learning paper were supposed to take a couple of sources and analyse them into a paper with some literature help
the biggest challenge is to find a proper thesis for it that fits into 10 pages i mean its all not a big deal but im totally not in the mood right now
also this is 10 times better than jstor http://www.jdg-online.de/startseite-en?set_language=en im not sure how good it is for english stuff tho but for german stuff in the modern era

However, the Russians didn't get the memo and just left Moscow, burned all their crops and waited until he ordered his army home. The winter wasn't really the thing that kicked his ass, more that the Russians just starved out the army and chased them all the way home.

The winter was not the worst of the German's problems against Russia in WW2. They had plenty of other issues, including that the Russian's are a little nuts.

Actually i just spoilered all of my text i hate these discussions on LD they are fucking awful + Show Spoiler +I'm of the belief that as long as the EU is tied to the same currency, it is designed to fail (well, rather to go through extreme hardships) (especially as so many different economies with varying government systems and priorities are tied together.)
But whatever thats just what I think.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/French_invasion_of_Russia
Napoleon entered Moscow a week later. In another turn of events the French found puzzling, there was no delegation to meet the Emperor. The Russians had evacuated the city, and the city's governor, Count Fyodor Rostopchin, ordered several strategic points in Moscow set ablaze.[15] Napoleon's hopes had been set upon a victorious end to his campaign, but victory in the field did not yield him victory in the war. The loss of Moscow did not compel Alexander I to sue for peace, and both sides were aware that Napoleon's position grew worse with each passing day. Napoleon stayed on in Moscow looking to negotiate a peace, his hopes fed in part by a disinformation campaign informing the Emperor of supposed discontent and fading morale in the Russian camp. After staying a month Napoleon moved his army out southwest toward Kaluga, where Kutuzov was encamped with the Russian army.
