Unofficially, quite a while ago actually. A few months.

It was actually funny at MLG they had those Razer patches on their jackets (and the EG shirts have razer logos too) but they had steelseries mice/mousepads etc in the booth.

It is weird they would switch gear but not the patches. But I would expect there to be an overlap/transition period as one sponsorship expires and another starts up.

Does anyone use the Steel Series Sensei? I hear its a small mouse and not a total POS, which is what I want.

I thought it was the smallest one... All the ads for mice fucking suck, because you can't get a photo of the thing next to a quarter or coffee mug. But they will tell you its tuned for gamers and has useless hit like weights and shitty custom software.

I use the sensei raw
no complaints except that the software to customize the DPI runs everytime u boot ur pc or else apparently doesn't work :|
chances are good you'd be fine without running it.

I was happy with my Sensei Raw till the mouse wheel broke after couple years of use, I'd personally recommend Raw over the regular one since it has less nonsense functions.

After it broke I picked up Steelseries Rival which I find slightly better for my own use.

Edit: They are actually in the same price range now.

logitech, zowie, coolermaster all make better mice (backed by mouse thread)
SS has some acceleration built in that can't be disabled or something

I will never buy a steelseries product again after the awful customer support I received from them when my headset wasn't being recognized by their software engine. they held onto it for about 4 or 5 months while it was being RMA'd and when I finally was able to receive a new one after not hearing for them for weeks at a clip, it still didn't get recognized so I wasted my time. I got a free keyboard which introduced me to the cherry red switches I love but that thing was a POS too.

personally I love my razer naga. when I got hurt that thing was a godsend bc I could play doto with one hand lol. great form factor, software works, etc.

the actual reason that I bought the sensei is because it looks like an actual mouse instead of some overly stylized advertisement thing designed for form over function.

I have a Razor DeathAdder, which is to big and its matte finish gets really dirty. My main concern with a mouse is form factor so they don't feel like dead weight in my hand.
