I'm just using my mobo and iv noticed that the volume maxes out at around 60-70%. It's enough for me for just about everything though, so maybe not worth the money on the upgrade. Thanks for the advice man I really appreciate it! | ||

Yeah I think we both have the 250 ohm. There's also an 80 and a 600 I think. The reviews say the e10k should be sufficient for the 250ohm version unless you want to really max them out with bass boost and stuff. But maybe faru has a nice soundcard or something so it doesn't make a difference for him? | ||

My motherboard from 2016 (low end intel H-Something) wasn't capable of driving these boys properly (volume very low). I bought a musical fidelity V90-HPA - DAC/AMP combination - and the do sound amazing. have never tried comparing to non AMP since i got the new PC with a x370 modern motherboard though. | ||
