Yeah illusions have glaives, spamming your entire screen with them  And Luna is the fastest hero in the game and has very good agi gain(2.8) and the aura she has is also very strong early on (14 damage at level 1) which al put together with highest magical damage at level 7 in the game makes her a scary thing in pubs. She sucks in Comp coz she has to be close to the enemy and is made of wet paper

Guys I just realized I am so much like Dendi.
Dendi just went mid and got firstblooded and killed two more times by a two man roaming ganksquad, after the third death he said "ok gg" and ragequit to go play DayZ.
Almost exactly that happens to me like three times a day :p

nah I dont really ragequit because it isnt worth leaver queue, but I do get really irritated and stop playing dota for a while after a frustrating match. (dayz being my other game of choice atm)

Watching competitive games is always good, streams such as tobi's, purge's, premier league, etc. Dotacinema do introductory movies on youtube for all new heroes, purge does a few 'tutorial' videos on his youtube channel as well. Watching streams can help as well.

You're forgetting about the part where CK absolutely crushes weaker players in lane due to his extremely long engagement range and kill threat.

Also a question, Hex disabled backtrack in Dota 1 did it not?It doesn't in Dota 2 appearently.

and the fact that sometimes 1 crit is all you need to get the kill, so over a long fight ck's crit sucks, but if he pulls/blinks to you and gets a crit first hit, you are probably dead regardless if you are a medium to low health character.

Well that is far from telling the whole picture since not all of those heroes are equally dependant on their autoattack. I.e. some have other sources of damage/disable their autoattack themself in case of blade fury or primal split, whereas CKs spells synergize a lot more with his autoattack imho.

He's just looking at the crit itself. Doesn't matter the context. If CK had Jugger crit he would be more powerful than his own crit etc. Doesn't matter if Jugger crit or Brew crit doesn't work as well on their heroes, CK with their crit instead of his crit would have a greater dps increase.

but dps isn't everything. sometimes a lucky crit is better than having good dps.
take CK for instance. if he crits for 3x damage and crits twice in a row, and never crits again for the rest of a team fight, but those 2 crits directly lead toa super fast death of their carry or disabler, the team fight is likely going to be won as long as CK's team plays properly. If in the same scenerio PA has jugg crit and crits throughout, yeah the ck is dealing more damage, but that carry/disabler got away? then all of a sudden the team fight becomes much more difficult to win, even with a higher dps CK.

No you still only have 10% chance.
And i was comparing crits, not skill kits.
I am in no way calling CK a bad hero, i just think his crit is overestimated.

his crit isn't what makes him good or anything. but having Any crit is what makes him good. him having the chance to completely destroy a character without that character getting to fight back is part of what makes him so strong.
