http://www.cyborgmatt.com/2012/06/dota-2-19th-june/ I think it would be cool if someone could prepare the TL logos for the base so we could start using it once the update goes live. Anyone with the necessary graphical skills? Maybe make a small contest?

Fade Bolt mana cost is high but the spell is still incredibly powerfull Spellsteal speaks for itself Displacement spell which can go over cliffs if need be and an aoe 20% spell damage reduction, more then half a hood aoe for your team which stacks afaik.

The funny thing is in my opinion I've only played Dota 2 very rarely casually, but it's probably the most played game on my steam list of 30+ games now.

Same here, about 85 hours played (most vs bots though because I'm terrible and insecure) which is far more than I play most games. I can't believe I've played about as much as a decently normal playthrough of final fantasy VII takes, and I'm still getting the basic knowledge down of enough heroes so that I can start playing random draft somewhat comfortably.

Well shit, I'm at about 535 hours. 93.1 hours in the past 2 weeks. :X

They were mostly transformation spells (Lycan ult, Sylla ult, Batrider Firefly) and orb effects (Frost Arrow, Searing Arrow). However almost every spell can be stolen now and some just seem a bit too powerful, turning yourself into Sylla bear form essentially gives you 1000 extra HP, stealing morphling's str morph would make you want to switch all of your agi to str.

Over 100h played but only 2 games against people. Still too scared. Some day.

I have played Bane (both farming & support roles) going 1 in Nightmare then stats (skipping Enfeeble until later) for a while and it's never felt like I ever needed extra duration on Nightmare. Yet in pro games it's always maxed (I think some people may get 1 or 2 level of stats early but they do end up maxing Nightmare).

Keeping an important hero out of a teamfight for an extra 3 seconds is HUGE. If you're up against a fed anti-mage, or you can get a nightmare off on a tidehunter right before he blinks/ravages then those 3 seconds are going to be huge, and give your team a giant advantage. If you're building support Bane, there's NO reason to be going stats over nightmare. Your role as support is to help your carries do as much as they can, and keeping a big hero out of a fight for a few seconds is giant. Don't underestimate the power of CC!

There is so much going on in a fight though. The AOE spell of an ally hero is more than likely to bring the hero out of sleep in those 4 seconds. I don't think you will ever get the ideal situation where the Bane can sleep someone that is outside the main area of battle so they won't get woken up by AOE damage.
