I think it's an unfortunate side effect of a team-based game that isn't easy to jump in and out of. If someone is doing badly or their team's doing badly in a regular pubgame in something like an FPS, they can just hop off the server and go on with their day. In a game like Dota they're stuck in that game until it ends unless they want to eat the abandon, so they're likely to take out their frustration on other people

It's just up to us as a community to try and not be dickish as compared to how some bad apples can be.

But I honestly think it's magnified in this genre. This is just personal experience, but I've been treated worse while playing HoN or Dota 2 than I've ever been while playing anything else.

Basically, make a hero whose right-click attack has unlimited range, or extremely long range (inspired by Tempest in HotS), BUT the longer the distance to the target of the shot - the more mana the shot drains (inspired by Eragon's concept of distance magic). And if your mana is not enough for the shot you are taking - you die!... so you must be very careful with your distance right-clicking. Also, your range is very limited, while you are near the regen pool, of course, and it gradually becomes longer/unlimited as you move away from home (to avoid strategy where you stay in proximity to your pool the whole game and just right click around the map / regen / etc). edit: I guess for similar reasons, this particular hero should not be allowed to carry TP or boots of travel.

This is just personal experience, but I've been treated worse while playing HoN or Dota 2 than I've ever been while playing anything else. This is a game where matches last on average 30-40 minutes and rely heavily on team coordination and communication and where an individual can ruin the game for his other 4 teammates, and in byproduct for the other 5 players on the other team. It is also a game where it is very overwhelming to get into, very difficult to get into, has a skillset that dignifies the concept and phrase "not for everyone", and this individual skill required is necessary for the aforementioned team coordination to be successful because, as said previously, a single person can ruin everything. It's not hard to put 2 and 2 together to see why people get angry at people.

The only one I could think of is the eidolon. They're like miniclone of Enigma and they clone themselves. Unless Naruto gained a blackhole ability recently lolol
