I could use a balance patch just because it would be nice. And ranked every game mode for solo queue.

Each game mode has its own stupid meta bullshit that people do, like counter picking and so on. At the end of the day, you still need to press all your buttons. (clearly no ability draft, thats not really dota, but also the most dota mode)

Is it any different than someone who just picks TA, DP and any other high win rate hero for the current meta? The amount of bitching is a steady, constant value. Its just the topic of the bitching that changes.

I'd like to think that the people who don't want their ranked games ruined by random luck would not play any game modes where randomness plays a part in your team composition. Moreso than that though, I feel like the real detriment to adding more queues to ranked means that the queue times for ranked would increase due to splitting the (admittedly, not too small) niche playerbase that plays ranked. Also, this would drive people away from unranked SD/RD/AR/CD meaning longer queue times in unranked as well.

Merlini on CNN money - makes more money at dota than being a with a bio-chem major: When Ben Wu graduated from college in 2009, many young people couldn't even get a job. But the biomedical engineering major landed a coveted spot at a trading firm in Chicago. He found the work fast paced and it paid well, but something was missing. He asked for some time off in 2012. He quit a week later to become a full-time video game player. This is pretty awesome and at the top of CNN money, and it well written and not dumb down for idiots. Also, a degree in bio chem would make you bank in the Boston area, so I can only assume Ben is doing well with the Summit.

Also, this would drive people away from unranked SD/RD/AR/CD meaning longer queue times in unranked as well. i would really like if they put a small incentive for playing ranked, for example slightly more battlepoints or a special modus for ranked all pick where everyone can ban 1 hero or something the community really wants. Also they need to do something to stop MMR inflation, right now some really good players have almost 7k MMR but they are not that much better than everyone else often they just play a lot more. The current solution to team them up with 4k players to kinda force their winrate and MMR to go down is flawed. It was obvious from the beginning that the MMR system is bad and can't go on forever without resets etc. but recently it really became a problem for players. At the highest level you often have to wait 30 minutes+ just to get a game with a bunch of low MMR players on your team. The only way to win is to carry them hard as you can't expect much from your team.

I don't want to carry them, just something to amuse myself while teaching them Dota. Stuff like support Alchemist and critES. Suggestions? Carry veng is pretty silly and funny, especially if you get scepter. Combat TreeEnt is also amusing. And putting a basher on a sandking is hilarious. Really, taking any STR support and going fully carry on them is a good time.
