In all honesty (no hate or whatever), just replace wayto. Just do it like what EG did, import a support player from eu. I always have this feeling that nazgul intended to make an eu team for dota lol.

I don't mind diablo on rainbow ponies THAT much, it's Arthas fighting a siege tank that killed the game for me

I've just looked closely to the schedule of the main event, and I don't really like it. Unlike other years it seems to be way less packed and intense. We'll already know 2 teams of the top 3 the first day, killing a lot of the suspense. Then you just get the final on a monday (which can actually be good to be honest, both teams will have a bit of time to prepare), I'm a bit sad. I loved the marathon from last years.

I dislike the seeding but i like that there are not too many games. I was watching a lot of round robin games but at some point i got bored and did other stuff.

Now that i look at the schedule i dislike that round robin format, why do you have to cramp that amount of games in 3 days rather than spreading them out like 6-7 days and then give one day off then main event. I dont even care about bo1/bo2 etc but just dont do 4 games simultaneously

They are clearly valuing speed over people's ability to watch the event. No system for an event is perfect and the international is no different. Plus I would not be suprised if there wasn't a "studio" in Seattle that could accommodate what they need in the time frame they needed it. Or at least one they could just rent for 8 days or so.

It was 108 matches, it's going to be cramped one way or another. Maybe they could've stretched it one more day and have just 3 matches played at the same time. But I don't think that makes a huge difference at the end of the day. I think the production was fine. The only thing I would've liked if they made some hype videos, shown interviews or id live interviews before the play day started or in between matches. Maybe not for the groupstages, because the days were really long as is and there was no downtime, but surely there should've been something for the bubble matches. Even just airing the hotbid interviews would've been something, or just bringing a player from both teams to the panel and asking them a couple questions.

At the end of the day, the games were awesome and super close, they were all well casted, no real issues, etc. And I'm sure the man event will be amazing.

That so much dota, but it was a pretty fair formate for the teams. Everyone had to play everyone and all came down to who had the best showing. And every game matter, unless you were arrow.

Ok, the time of techies is forthcoming. My dream set up is they release it in the allstar match along with Pitlord, and the crowd goes wild.
