Lacoste: Hi friends, fans and haters! 1st of all this isnt just another troll post from me! On a serious note, I didnt want to give any statements about this, but it seems that i shouldve done it! I can c a lot of negative comments, so ill just try to b short and explain my situation. We do what we think its best for us. Some things in life dont work out as u planed them to b(this referes to Darer) Ive learned a lot from Sergey and Ivan in this short time ,and im really greatfull for that ! They are indeed great players and personalities... But concerning darer situation, in a few days or so, u will see that it had some bigger problems then u might realize... Sometimes its hard to make a decision in life, for me this was one of those! I hope i did the right thing, only time will tell... I have a great faith in this team, and i hope we will get invitation for TI2. CLG fighting!!!! Thats basicly it ;D Thanks to my supporters,

sincerely yours DOTA PROSTITUTE!

haha

Seems like darer have serious problems.

does tobiwan use makeup around his eyes (which would make no sense) or does he really have the biggest dark circles (whatever its called) there are?

is so weird because its not only under his eyes, its all around black

no its just the eye circles indicating the lack of sleep. He talked about it yesterday when he was trying to mix up different camera options

I just saw a guy (I would say 1% chance that actually a girl) spamming in Europe chat, in all caps the following:
"IS THERE ANY GIRL GAMERS ? PLS 4 X 4 COMMEND ME I'LL COMMEND YOU AND ADD ME FRIENDLIST FOR PLAYING GAME"
So i'm like, naah this can't be working. Then I click his dota profile, and he has 123 wins, and 106/91/93/93 commendations.
So yea, so much for the commend system. I really don't see a point to it. And it frustrates me, because it could actually be a helpful tool to reinforce good behaviour in a generally very BM community.

Yeaah, the commend trading just goes on. Making me real proud of the one and only commend I have (teaching) and know to having really earned, haha.

There are some friendly/fun people to play with who accordingly have a larger number of commends than normal (say around 20-30), but nowhere near the 100 mark. Pros and casters who play on the front page reach ridiculous amounts but I suppose that's to be expected.

i have played dota2 since feb and i think i have seen less than 5 female players (i play on all 3 severs). And yes they are real girl bc they are either well known or use voice chat... Sadly most of them suck and should not be given a carry role.

Rumours floating around JD/GGnet forums that Darer has once again changed roster.

DTS players Mag (M!!), Funn1k (Awesome Play) and Goblak (Go[blin], 333) move to Darer while Lacoste (already in CLG), CWM, & Freezer depart. According to this GGnet thread, only change in role for these players will be G moving to the main carry (#1 position) role as Mag takes the mid role.

There are no official/reliable sources for this that I can link, but reportedly v1lat confirmed this on his stream. Apparently DTS were also playing with 3 standins today. Lacoste's statement also alluded to some instability within Darer a few days ago as noted above (LC: "But concerning darer situation, in a few days or so, u will see that it had some bigger problems then u might realize").

If this move is true, I wonder what this will mean for them and the chances of a TI2 invite. We've already seen the reward for stability with iG getting an invite and with this change for Darer being the 2nd major roster revamp in about 2 weeks, surely Valve will be extremely reluctant to invite them now.

Sigh, why are the joindota forums so bad? >
The people there are completely ignorant of everything and will judge a team without taking the players situation into it.

Talking about DD here, sure they've had problems but before the whole eclypsia thing they couldn't really train due to exams and 2 of the members moving = obviously they'll be losing a lot.
Then the whole eclypsia thing happened and they lost a player and got a new one, it'll take time but they'll get back as one of the top teams, IMO.
I mean, JD forums said: "sponsor or not, they won't win anything anyway"

I'm just annoyed i guess, all teams can have bad periods, and IMO DD has proven that when they're in shape they have what it takes to compete with the best.
From the Ghastly Eyrie I can see to the ends of the world, and from this vantage point I declare with utter certainty that this one is in the bag!

How exactly do you say iG getting an invite is a reward for stability. Geezlike how far are people going to push this stability thing. They got an iG because they got star power and are really good marketing for valve in China. This "oh no they changed roster valve excudes them" is getting ludicrous now. Just freaking wait for the invites to come out. Darer clearly trying to find a roster that suits them and well they jumped the gun a bit with previous one. I guess there was pressure on them to not use standins while they were trying to get things sorted so they jumped into a team that didn't work in the long run.

Tobi himself said in an interview stability was a very important criteria. It is not ludicrous that Valve would exclude them for this. TI2 starts in 3 months if you invite a team based on who is in it now and the team is substantially different 3 months down the track, it doesn't really make the invite that "valid". We saw this even in the first International, when 4 members of LGD went to form iG.Y and as a result neither LGD nor iG.Y were given LGD's original place in the tournament, with Virus taking that spot (or some other team if Virus were replacing someone else).

Yes, of course iG also got in due to their star power and the fact they are from China, perhaps it was a bad example to use since stability was not the main factor but you look at the common factors among the teams invited so far it's not that unreasonable to say that stability is an important selection criteria.

Tobi isn't valve. People should stop acting like his word is law. Valve haven't said "if you change rosters you won't get an invite" in public so taking something Tobi said as the law IS ludicrous. We aren't talking about teams changing 3 months down the line, we talking about teams changing now. They are changing rosters now TO be stable not other way around. Would you prefer Darer to wait a few more weeks with their current team then everything break apart or change now?

HAHA for reals? we must have been in the same channel I seen literally the same thing and he had a fucking silly amount of commends.

Yea, the thing about the JD forums is that apparently they do not have enough mods to cover the forums. Most of the mods work to keep the news updated and instead want users to "police" themselves as in to know what to post, etc etc. Problem is, most people dont.

An enormous % of the posts I read there make me wonder why the guys aren't banned yet.
I know they need to keep their forums active, and banning half the people is not a good idea, but they don't realize that it's better for long term to have less active forums than 4chan level forums with everyone insulting everyone.
Basically on JD, a full flame post, containing only insults, is not moderated, lol.
