Kinda wierd how its worded, so after the patch the ogre maulers will have 3 less armor than now? or 3 more?

btw, if you have the test client try "dota_free_camera 1". it looks good but its probably not even close to finished.
what it does is basically let you freely look around. you can get a whole new perspective of the dota map ^^ sadly it doesnt let you move from the point you casted it on yet.

- Morphling: Fixed being able to heal under Ice Blast.
^we talked about that some =) (well in fact perhaps they talk about heal and not morph)
And yeah now they have -3 armor.
About exgosu
Rank: #4 Score: 1274 Winrate : 69% Statistiques: 46-21
Roster Steven 'Korok' Ashworth Jung 'Solara' Har Michael 'Mikey' Wunsch Josh 'Lasthitmagic' Price Josh 'PAINTITGOLD' Amos
From gosugamers. The rank/ELO is what it is, but as it's the same for all teams and they play a lot each other it's still meaningful imo. And don't forget exgosu was qualified for the starserie LAN, just couldn't go there because Bulba left for EG. M5 replaced them.

New Beastmaster looks pretty awesome

In terms of obvious invitees, we can think through this logically
first of all, since Valve wants Dota2 to succeed internationally, we're essentially guaranteed at least 3 teams from EU and 3 teams from China, along with at least two from NA, two from SEA, and AL
The locks for EU is at least Na'Vi and CLG while China will at least have DK and EHome, (the third one will almost certainly be LGD with an optional 4th of perhaps Tongfu), and AL since you really can't make a case for any of the 5 teams not to be there
NA is a three way horse race between EG, Col, and XGosu, for which at least 2 or perhaps all three will be invited since it would be difficult to only pick 2 of the above teams imo without a justification better than "we're out of slots"
SEA has Zenith, MUFC, and Orange in a similar position to NA
so thats, realistically, we have 10 slots set in stone, 3 slots in what i believe to be more or less region locked, and only 3 slots left
if you look at it, thats a pretty good representation of the scene atm, 5-6 EU, 3-4 China, 3 NA, 3 SEA, and AL
though only picking 3-4 from Darer/Keita/M5/Infs/Mouz/mTw/VP/Quantic will be somewhat trying

Have they stated whether or not it will be a 16 team tournament? There might be more otherwise.
|
AL should be counted as SEA... idk ~_~
|
Dont' forget Mineski in SEA, they fucking RUN malaysian esports. Doesn't matter if they're terrible in international comp, mineski si the malaysian illuminati lol.
Zenith is pretty much a lock, best SG team, probably best SEA team, got 3rd place last year. I would say they are probably one of the few guaranteed locks we'll see, along with Na'vi CLG and AL.
China could easily have like, LGD, CLC, Ehome, DK, Panda (or wahtever is left of those teams, bunch of them disbanding and shit I can't keep track of which teams aer left and which aern't lol)
No teams in NA are locks, just because I think all 3 teams have their pluses and minuses. EG is by far the biggest name in english-speaking esports nowadays. They might be the worst performing of the three teams, but they are the most well known, as well as the names of the players on the team, when you have Maelk Fear Demon Bulba. coL probably hast the most consistency at peforming at a high level, as well as a stable roster, since the beginning of 2012. And ex-GoSu has the most top placing performances in recent weeks, leading up to the invites. They have the most momentum.
I can't see all three of those NA teams being invited, just given that there are only 16 spots and there could be 9-10 asian teams invited (including AL as an asian team, I guess I should use the term "Eastern" team).
Darer and Virtus.Pro have probably the best starpower and names at this moment but they only JUST formed so not only do we not know how they will perform together just yet, but we haven't seen any results out of them. Na'vi is obviously locked set and favorites to win, period, I basically ignore any arguments that Na'vi won't be the favorite to win, even any arguments using chinese teams. CLG is a lock due to consistent lineup and performance, they don't go through team turmoil, rather they upgrade each time. (Pajkatt first, now adding another of Europes top talents in Misery can only help, and then you have Loda Mirakel and Akke who have played together since the beginning of time). Beyond that there are SO MANY teams left in europe, M5, mouz, mTw, Next, Quantic.
16 is going to be hard to figure out, almost makes you wish they would do 4 groups of 5 or 6 (20 or 24 total teams then), top 2 or top 4 from each group move on to bracket stage.

They finally added a message that indicates your stats are affected if you leave games that are "safe to leave." The fixes are coming nice and slow.

No love for Next.kz? I think they have an excellent shot at getting an invite over teams like Infused and Quantic

^oh, definitely, can't believe I forgot about them... best part is, they don't even need a sponsor to go to TI2.

Been playing a little bit of warlock recently and holy shit he is just so much fun. Soulring is hilarious on him. I have just been getting fatal bonds and maxing that while going W/E/maxW after. The point in E is to turn around tower dives. I don't like him as a 5th position but a 4th position, he can be pretty sweet. Fatal bonds is great lane harass and he has a freaking huge manapool/regen so it is pretty easy to spam it. I have seen him run a few times in pro setups. He is quite squishy and does need that 4th pos (or take him mid if the matchup favors him) to get mek relatively fast but I think he is under-rated and he could fit in to some lineups.

Upheaval is my favorite spell in the game. There's something massively satisfying about dropping a bomb on the other team then throwing out upheaval and watching their team panic. Someone will run at you going "oh shit, I gotta stop this!" take a few steps toward you and go "oh shit, I'll never make it, abort mission" then run away, all in slow motion while your team cleans up. It's like having a front row seat to a slaughter.

If you ever get the full slow off it's amazing. There's something hilarious about a melee being unable to help an ally that's 5 feet away from them.

Hmm, got me thinking. I wonder if you can snare someone so much they move backwards. I'm sure since its point and click probably not. Reminded of EQ1 where if you snared yourself, crouched, turned on walk and hit forward you moved so slow your guy actually went backwards lol.

CyborgMatt is amazing.
"- If no stats will be recorded for a match due to someone leaving too early the abandonment message will now reflects this."
Now people don't need to speculate!
