At least not mainly. The International 1 was EU located tournament. 8 eu teams 4 Chinese 4 SEA YEAH BECAUSE THEY ACTUALLY PLAY DOTA IN EU... buddy im telling you, it gona take a lot to have valve invite NA team. The NA scene is so damn small its not even worth to expand the market to. DotA main markets has always been EU and China and SEA. Ex-gosu isnt a stable pick either bc their captain is now playing for EG. No sponsor plus lack in stable line up will kill them. The only 2 chances right now to get ticket to the international 2 are JoinDotA tournaments (the defense 2 coming up) and LAN at dreamhack. I doubt the result of small online tourneys such as itsgosu cup would affect IceFrog invites. Exgosu has won over 15 matches in a row without bulba.. pretty sure they deserve the spot more than EG atm.
Agreed. ExGosu is on a big winning streak, they are showing really strong games, and taking down some big teams. EG may get an invite because they are EG but I definitely think ExGosu and CoL have a good chance to get invites. They are good teams and they have shown great results either recently or in the pat. I do think the next Dreamhack and Defense will have a huge impact on invites but don't count out the American boys. They want this just as bad as any other EU team.

what really worries me about holding the tournament in the US is visas.
traveling TO the states is a lot worse than traveling FROM the states.
I hope all of the invited teams make it.

I expect CLG to be invited, they are one of the most stable(if not the most stable? ) team there is pretty much and they perform well. Anyway Black^ got a team it seems, Mouz , lineup looks nice and I hope they can stabilize.
I am also wondering whether, if iG doesn't participate in the international 2 if there is a chance that Zenith can ''hire'' Chuan from for that, doubt it but you never know.
And yes, visa's from China/SEA/Eastern Europe, hope everyone is able to make it.
|
i highly doubt that Zenith will hire Chuan. Picking up 1 player in SEA area isnt that hard tbh. Isnt there are several semi-pros in AUS?

i dont think valve wants to sacrifice NA scene to LoL.

no hero T.T seems like an overall terrible patch content wise.
|
Aww no new hero. Lots of item bug fixes. The increased force staff cast range makes me happy.

NaVi is about the same for stability, if not better.
|
i thought the team ranked queue was going in this patch? o well, no hero, no ranked, no fun.
|
The two best fixes: Brewmaster: Fixed attack range being 138 instead of 128. Fixed Force Staff cast range (600->800).
The worst
The Random button is now hidden whenver the player wouldn't get gold for randoming (RD & SD modes).
Why remove the ability to random in SD and RD? Might as well just show that bonus gold is gained in other modes.
|
You can still random if you let time expire right? At least for RD maybe not SD.

They're one of the hottest and most consistent teams right now. In reality, virtus pro is way less stable. They just got formed by a bunch of players who have been bouncing around between teams.
|
hmmmmm... somehow i got stat on ex-gosu wrong... weird... it said here they lost their last 5 games T_T. Just re check my notebook with joindota result page and you guys are right... What is their full roster again?
also, the patch this week is expected but fucking disappointing hoping for a double/triple release next week
