If so they seem generally happy with the direction that game is taking and how Valve started to support it a couple of months ago. Obviously most didn't like what was done with CS 1.6 but you have to consider that it was a different time. Developers weren't expected to support eSports, it was an enormous bonus if they did. So the things which Valve did to CS like updating before a big tournament or making changes the competitive community didn't like, quite frankly wasn't that big of a deal back then because of eSports. They were a big deal because the general playerbase didn't like the changes either.
As for the rest of the community, well that's not quite the same.

Can you sell the set on the market? I want to buy the ticket but 15$ is waaaaaay too much.

Stacking evasion feels so weird on Huskar . Anyone have good ideas on how to Huskar this patch? The lack of bonus damage from his passive makes his laning so weak.

huskar with weak laning are we playing the same game

Id like some perspective from the pro CS community on what they think of Valve now that they started to do some more work on GO. They were very vocal in speaking against Valve and their lack of support for many years and I can see why given what they have done to Dota. I got to talk to HeatoN in person last weekend, and he think's Valve has handled everything with CSGO really, really well.

Valve needs to do The International for CSGO also.
That would make me pick the game up again.

That seems to be all he has though.

That would make me pick the game up again. That's what Dreamhack Winter is essentially though no?

Apparently S&Y almost has the same stigma as Vanguard regarding how bad the item is? Why is that? I personally enjoy it on some heroes...
|
SnY is rarely good. Just like Vanguard, its very over-represented in being picked up,by bad players
|
the that extra 4% movespeed counts for a lot because mspeed in this patch is at a premium. its one of the few ways that heroes who want to be sticky can up that stat efficiently. phase drums sny is as legit as ever on naix and some others.
|
i'd say that pool is pretty limited tho
|
it's actually 6% over yasha it's legit on a handful of melee carries it's ok on a couple other heroes too like krob and razor but it makes u run 16% faster that's so good

Dreamhack is just Dreamhack, its a huge lan with a bunch of tournies showcased for different games.
If something happens, like a big standalone event for CSGO (much like TI Dota 2), then it would attract so much more attention. Run it like TI, where each region a invite, even if they are non-relevant they can still pick up exposure and grow from there.
But I dont think Valve has the manpower or resources to run both CSGO and Dota 2 Internationals and keep them up to the standards they have now.

Hi, I do not know if this the right place here but I have a question.
In recent days I had repeatedly lost connections to Dota2Network. So I have several abandon games and am therefore in the low priority matchmaking pool for "six days".
Can I do something?
Thanks and excuse my bad english

I'm just saying Dreamhack is like that since they did the compendium thing for it just for all purchases in cs:go.
SnY is the pubstomp carries best item I think. Besides that it's only really good on Naix I think.

S&Y has been chain-buffed over the past few years, it's a fine item now on some heroes. Vanguard is still a bit meh in most situations.
Edit:

Valve needs to seriously fix the random->repick bug. It makes it really hard to repick into melee heroes that need a Stout Shield.
Basically the random gold bonus is only +200 gold as of 6.79, BUT, the gold penalty from random gold is still 350 gold and not 300 gold. Starting with 475 gold off random->repick means you don't have enough starting gold to start with Stout+double regen.
This actually means that you start with LESS gold from random->repick than if you pick->repick.
