The timer resets but you will never actually reach the ready check phase again. You'll get to 10/10 states but the game won't put up the prompt asking you to accept or decline. In this case, the game just keeps "searching" for you perpetually. I never actually waited to 30 minutes when it happens but I watched the queue go to multiple 10/10 states, so I would assume it's possible to last for a long time. Edit: Think of it as MM purgatory if you will. | ||

It also just occurred to me that region preferences maybe affecting it too, what are your settings? | ||

1) unreal tournament/quake announcers say basically the same thing. Pretty sure the original dota ones were ripped from UT. 2) they're actually re-recorded by jon st jon | ||

Otherwise, they're pretty different. Quake announcer is triggered by impressive feats while UT announcer counts consecutive kills and sprees, which we can hear in Dota of course. Speaking of announcers, I wonder if Valve will give players different choices for announcers. The announcer for TF2 actually works pretty closely with Valve, I'd imagine they'd get her to do a Dota announcer set. | ||
