Personally I think that new Huskar is quite strong laner now, burning spears hurt a lot and you regen back the hp quite fast. Also Huskar needs quite a few levels so i think mid lane is quite good for him. Thoughts ? The new Huskar is stronger early/midgame than the old one. The main difference is that he trades farming power from the old Berserker's Blood for midgame fighting potential.
The real "best" place for the new Huskar though is as a duo off-laner in pubs.

You are never going to get that many free razes on him, because once he has his Boots before your Bottle, he can abuse his MS advantage super hard.

My mid mojo is BACK. I am fucking yajirobe level again.

Ah, I always forget Huskar builds Phase these days.
Truth be told, I avoid the hero like the plague.

I don't know, if he just starts trading hits at level 1 he is going to come out ahead because of his significantly better level 1 stats as well as burning spear, and if he gets off to a decent start and doesn't overcommit, but simply keeps SF defensive, it feels like there's not much the SF can do.

Truth be told, I avoid the hero like the plague. He doesn't need Phase (in fact, Treads are fine on Huskar). He'll get Boots before you have a Bottle at like level 2/3.

Also, for some reason I thought huskar had 350 range.
Don't know why.

Treads are fine but last hitting is a giant pain in the ass without phase now that his passive doesn't give you a billion base damage. Also helps you chase/orb walk since his kit is a lot more midgame gank/solo kill oriented now.

I wish all boots are able to be disassembled except Travels...
Any chance this could be implemented? I mean why not?
2 already do it, so what's so bad about doing it with others?

Lifestealer getting a faster Armlet. So and so getting faster basher.
Also, these boots are already strong in the lategame, but it makes it more of a commitment and sort of forces them to invest more to transition into BoTs when required. It becomes a lot stronger of a conscious decision, while if you have arcanes / tranquil, it allows generally support heroes to more easily access BoTs in the lategame.
Also, allows you to switch between arcanes and tranquils.
Just my thoughts.

Well I only say this because of how hard to decide which to get between Treads and Phase sometimes. Opens up a lot of options.

After ghost scepter is picked it up it's not quite as even, but that's generally a fair amount of time into a game and there's always diffusal as an option.

Treads if you have some mana intensive spell that you want to treadswitch for, and are generally higher DPS in the later game.

Yes, but that's not all there is to TA winning and losing lanes.
Huskar falls in that awkward zone where his range is too low to dodge Psi Blades splash when he lasthits, but he also doesn't have ranged skills to farm with.

Does anyone else feel like the standard Dota 2 announcer, not to mention the kinda awful late-90s internet terms like "wicked sick" and "ownage", feel campy and oftentimes downright bad? It almost defeats the purpose for me. It feels comical (and not in a good way).
Small complaint. I love dota.

I learned this the hard way when playing that match-up for the first time. That and she had a treant giving her armor. And a spirit breaker charging. Game was hard, but fun.

I love it, absolutely love it. Wouldn't feel like dota without it to me.

TA should not get a creep in that lane unless there's something stopping huskar from hanging around the creeps.

rofl, its like saying viper crushes ta, when an above than average ta will shit on him

Skill plays a big role in who wins mid I think.
