As bad as it would be at first for [A] to go over and stomp Koreans for a while, there is no doubting that it would jump start the scene in terms of getting the level of play up quickly. Nothing is quite the same as playing against someone MUCH better than you when it comes to learning quickly. A few months with [A] over there practicing and the scene would be much better overall, at least when it comes to the top level play. The issue I suppose would be if the Koreans got stomped so badly the scene just died entirely, but this is Korea we are talking about. Plus Korea picked up LoL a LOT faster than I personally expected, so I wouldnt rule out their being able to close the gap in a few months. I dont think that they would instantly become #1 in the world, but A Korean team among the A- B+ level teams in 3-4 months is perfectly within the realm of possibility. CLG (a top LoL team) did a similar thing in LoL when the Korean servers first opened up, and that turned out just fine. Although you can make the argument that a lot of top LoL players already had a lot of experience on the NA servers before Korea opened up. | ||

They have been accurate before in fact. We all laughed at Gaymon when he suggested that the quelling blade being able to destroy wards might be legit, and we were wrong. I dont care enough to go digging it up but there was a leaked patch notes that seemed like total bullshit but turned out to be an actual early version of the latest patch. | ||

The question is whether or not there are enough decent players to at least put together a fight. There was a good enough basis in Korean LoL to start at least, the question remains to be seen if the players are in place for dota. | ||
