If you can pull off a double pull its better for sure because you can get the gold and xp from the pull camp every minute, but doing a double pull alone is pretty hard, so its safer to do a stack pull. (this is also harder for the offlaner to mess with). Personally I often mess up double pulls, especially on dire, thats why I usually stack and pull. | ||

On dire side it is really easy for the offlaner to mess up the pull-through timing if it's good. Sometimes it's better to just be safe than to risk pushing on a non-cannon creep wave if you need the cannon to get tower(ie: not a jungler). With that being said the people you are seeing double stack most likely don't take any of this into account and just don't know how to do pull through pulling. It varies a lot according to what camp you get in the first pull so inexperienced people tend to fail at it. Stacking first removes this. | ||

No. Chains are always more efficient, assuming you can pull them off. It only depends on whether you can get them done and whether the enemy offlaner can disrupt them easily. A fucked up chainpull screws much more with your lane than him trying to mess up a stacked pull camp. e: Also whatever you do -never- stack the Radiant chain camp unless you plan to just stack -> pull your regular pullcamp for the next 10 minutes. I see this a lot even on streams by ixmike and others. It basically makes it so that you can easily need 3+ chains to ever get done with that camp which makes it highly inefficient. | ||
