Razer has officially added the Malaysian Esports organization, Titan, to their long list of sponsorships. Titan have been performing well in Dota 2 lately, and have more than enough potential to take games off of top teams. The sponsorship will also support Titan's CS:GO team, which is one of the top teams currently in the world, as well as Quake legend, Cypher.
From Razer's press release:
It is with great pleasure today that we announce the introduction of one of the best multi gaming organizations to Team Razer’s roster of elite worldwide professional gamers.
Founded in 2013, Titan has quickly become one of the premier multi-gaming organizations in the world, featuring three award winning divisions in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Dota 2 and Quake Live. All three divisions have a long heritage in their respective games and compete at the very highest level. Since its inception Titan has claimed main titles, with their most recent title being the Counter-Strike: Global Offensive DreamHack Invitational.
"We're glad to be sponsored by Razer, not just because they're a renowned brand for gamers but because all along we've been using Razer gear,” said Joel ‘Xtinct’ Chan, Titan Dota 2 player. “Hopefully we can achieve even better results with this partnership.”
“My first mouse was the Razer Copperhead and I’ve been playing with Razer products since the beginning of my career,” said Kévin 'Ex6TenZ' Droolans, Titan Counter-Strike: Global Offensive captain. “As you probably know, my teammates and myself were already supported by Razer for more than two years with Team VeryGames, and we are happy to keep working with them. I know that our collaboration will allow us to meet our future challenges with confidence."
Razer’s continued support for eSports shows its commitment to professional eSports athletes and their fans across the globe. Across a variety of titles and levels of skill, Razer supports all aspects of eSports and this partnership only goes to solidify its commitment to the industry as a whole.
Hopefully this sponsorship gives Titan more opportunities in Dota 2.
