Unless you live in europe, in which case it suddenly changed to 60€, which is quite a bit more. Especially as hard copies in stores only cost 52€ over here.

I preordered it for 35€ at zavvi.com. Early buyers were able to get it for even less than 30€ there.
It seems the UK has by far the lowest game prices in the EU for some reason.

This question might warrant it's own topic, but it's related enough to the OP that I'm not quite certain about that.
Now this might be a total confabulation on my part, but when SC2 came out didn't Blizzard have a system in place where if you pre-ordered a physical copy of the game you received a code or something on your receipt that you could use to pre-install the digital version of the game so that when you picked your boxed copy up you wouldn't have to wait through the installation? Or so you wouldn't have to wait for the game to ship and arrive? It might have only been if you pre-ordered the boxed copy from their storefront, but I think they did something like that.
My question is: are they doing something similar for Diablo 3? I'm about to pre-order it, but I can't decide between getting the boxed copy or digital. I'd like to have the third game in one of my all-time favorite series on my shelf, but I know I'd also like to remove the waiting for arrival/installation.

I don't think you even need a pre-order, at least my friend just linked me to a site that I'm pretty sure was official and I could download the installer and install the game just fine. Can't recall the exact site but got this from google and the sources seem pretty legit to me.

Too bad you ended up with paying 12 months of WoW subscription when all you'll be playing is Diablo 3 ! :þ

The install client isn't tied to your pre-order. Sure you won't have the link to the download on your battlenet account if you order the box but you can still download the client (see the third post above mine or google). So you can just download the d3 client in advance and install the game and when you get your box you just use it to create your d3 account. In retrospective this is what I would have done but I got so excited that I pre-order the online version right away when it became available.

My boxed version got delayed for like a week wtf -_-.
I want to buy a cd-key now, anyone know a legit site that sell legit key? I read thru the whole thread and all I can find is this http://www.ultimatumgamekeys.de and they sell them for $64 as pricey as digital download from Blizzard.
|
Lots of shops in Australia selling for $59 while blizz charges something like $80 for online! They get cheap import from US but that doesn't take into account the higher cost of living over here, which is factored into the blizzstore price - cheap cheap!

I got lucky, my store made a clear mistake
It should have been 50€, but it was 40€. And I have specific coupons (get a 12€ coupon for 10€) for that store. So I only paid 34€

Got mine at a dutch game store for 46 euros + a free steelseries mousemat :O

Got it in Belgium for 39 Euro, cheap but those were selling like bread and water :D
|
i need online website, for cd-key only, do you know where are the best prices right now?
|
Honestly the best prices are all around blizzard's price as far as I can see, at least for right now. So if you just want the key, you might as well buy it from blizzard.
