But there are some website that offer to sell you the cd-key at lower cost. So can you just input the cdkey in your battle.net account and activate the game? Sure. I wouldn't buy it from BNet. 60€ is just way too expensive. But you have to choose your seller smart, if you want to start at 0:00 (us local time)

What I want to ask is, can you switch the language freely since the client from Taiwan will be Traditional Chinese. Also, is the game still there once I switch my Bnet account back to where I am actually is? EDIT: NVm, you can't switch your region freely now -_-. I can get a boxed version for $50 but only after one week from release T_T. Guess i will have to opt for OVERPRICE digital version which I feel really unfair since the boxed version also come with an diablo mousepad + a T shirt and a poster O_O.

If you open a restaurant and have some brain u will understand why if you are a clever person. When u pay cash u automatically generate a generous tip when people pay. If you pay with EC-Cards or stuff like this most people pay the exact price, not more. Thats the restaurant part... the other side, i guess germans are a little smarter than americans and dont buy stuff they normally dont have money for. Thats the reason u guys had that financial crysis a while ago. That responce is so not cool, dude... He didn't thought like a "dickhead" or a kid from elementary school. He HAVE some brain and I'm assuming he's a clever person. You on the other hand are just mean. In Poland we actually pay in almost every restaurant with debit cards and guess what - most of these restaurants have optional tips, which you can pay with the whole price of the meal you just ate - WITH a debit card.

Edit: that is, presuming you don't want it at midnight, but then, my exams start at 15th so I won't be playing until 25th anyway D:

On the topic at hand, I am also kinda appalled by the price range the game is being offered for. Still unsure whether to wait a few weeks and hope for a good discounted offer or just go with the flow that seems to often see AAA titles from the top 3 publishers at these prices.

The price will drop alot ~5days before the release, when the local sellers fight for the best price with amazon etc. It was the same with sc2 release! here in romania the prices for diablo 3 are super high T_T most of them are over 60 euros. wtf? i hope the prices will drop a little after the release. i would order it from another country but seems shipping is so expensive. on amazon uk i found that shipping to here is like 20 pounds. i was confused anyways cause they don't explain the shipping process and prices well.

the copy was legit and still works, if I would buy D3 i would look for these deals. A friend of mine found Diablo III+annual pass for wow for ~40-50€ i dont remember anymore, these deals come from Gamemasters that sell the year of WOW through gamecards because they got an unlimited amount of codes for their work as Gamemaster(at least it was explained to me like that).

So, yes, this is ridiculously low, but I believe it might be a matter of generations. CCs are being handed out to students and young adults without non-transaction-related fees, and as has been pointed out by some, since they're often necessary for ordering stuff from outside Germany, they're becoming more and more common. [...] I assume it has much to do with EC -Cards (Eurocheque) you get for free with your bank account. In Germany it's usually the EC-Card you use to pay when you don't have cash on you. This concept is not used in other countries as much. So basically EC-Card replaces Credit Card for the most part in Germany. However, I wouldn't venture to say nobody has a CC. Many people have one, but use it mostly for foreign-country transactions. Fun fact: When using a German CC in a foreign country, you are often not required to use your PIN with it, but simply sign the bill. This is because Germans use their CCs so rarely that they are not expected to know their PIN. On topic: Amazon.co.uk currently prices D3 with 32,91 Pounds. That is around 40€. Even shipping included still cheaper than Amazon.de. Of course you'd need a CC for that.
