Great job by Vinny del Negro once again not having a timeout at the end of the game for the 2nd game in a row. What a coach.

Miller was the only one that wasn't getting shoved around by Perkins and Davis. He had 9 rebounds compared to Thomas' 4. Not to mention Thomas is still a shitty shooter despite what happened 2 days ago.

Pierce had some nice shots, but he doesn't have the elevation or the strength to take it to the rim that he used to. Ray Allen doesn't have the elevation to defend Gordon. Rondo isn't looking much like the best defensive point guard against Rose. Celtics win with some celtics magic (rondos 20 footer, allen's game winner), but that's not going to get them very far when they squeak out a win in a must win home game. When the jumpers % normalizes and the bulls learn how to box out, the celtics are going to start shooting <40% from the field. Bulls seem weak to beastly inside play, Howard might give them problems.

Tyrus blocked like 7 shots but you have to factor in whether the bulls got possession from the blocks. Every single block from him today ended up going out of bounds or right back to Boston.

Basically you have two and a half steps from your last dribble (Is lifted off the court and the non-pivot foot touches the court twice), and the dribble stops when you gather the ball, not when the ball last hits the floor. NBA official rule A player who receives the ball while he is progressing or upon completion of a dribble, may use a two-count rhythm in coming to a stop, passing or shooting the ball. The first count occurs: (1) As he receives the ball, if either foot is touching the floor at the time he receives it. (2) As the foot touches the floor, or as both feet touch the floor simultaneously after he receives the ball, if both feet are off the floor when he receives it. The second occurs: (1) After the count of one when either foot touches the floor, or both feet touch the floor simultaneously. How officials call it: "A lot of it is the cadence of the player," he says. "You can't sit there and count the feet. A guy going in for a layup or a dunk, there's a defender with him. Can't say one, two, badabing. It's a cadence, and watching it with peripheral vision." Espn series on traveling http://myespn.go.com/blogs/truehoop/0-38-273/NBA-Traveling--Rewrite-the-Rule.html Unofficial attempt to rewrite the traveling rule http://mixedink.com/TrueHoop/TravelRule Videos aren't up yet, so can't check.
