I've met him a couple times IRL. That doesn't mean we are friends. Though, I like IdrA despite his unwarranted arrogance in this situation. Cyber-asshole online cute lil quiet CJ shirt sporting nerdling irl, gotta love it. I hate literally no one except people with malicious intent.

I mean shit look at my Foreigners Suck episodes on Artosis. The kid took a huge long dump in the toilet bathroom in the VIP section making the manager mad at me the first time we really went out together. What did this accomplish? It made our friendship grow. Mad respect for that seriously. U should hear that guy ranting about imbalance IRL it's literally the funniest thing ever.

rekrul the people on this site don't remember the artosis of old, they only know him as the castor/community contributor. He has a very good sense of PR.
Be kind he keeps his temper and such away from his 'work' or the community ... no reason to put him on blast .... he doesn't make us read drievel

Now, I'm not saying I agree with those arguments. I think the first is way too simplicistic and there are ways for a superior player to make his skill count and cut down on the luck factor. I also think it was a mistake to pick such an advanced build specifically devised to punish one particular build, when he didn't know how much credit he could give f91 for knowing the map in great detail.
But please, if you're going to respond to the strategy side of this, actually respond to what Idra's saying instead of throwing out random stuff like 'you got outwitted', 'he read you like a book' and whatever else you think sounds good.

I remember practicing with Artosis on Azalea (for some WCG prelim last year) and I tried to imitate a Nal_rA vs Frozean game (on Tau Cross, I think FPVod was available even back then) which is basically going 1gate reaver into proxy gate + DT tech. He deflected the reaver with ease (with the help of wraiths, as the build also benefits from simply allowing the T to scout you), then when the DTs walked into the undefended expo a minute later he was like "no fucking way!"  Artosis is lovely in TvP.
P.s.: I'm a part of "people" , and I do remember the Artosis of old!
P.p.s.: Now that I think of it I played Artosis in USA vs HUN too like 4 years ago - and won twice with the same gay DT drop. Now you shoulda seen how he exploded there

I'd leave the IdrA topic, it's beaten to death. I always thought he needs some grasp of reality, and I hope this may accomplish it - but who knows.

Lol, I remember one russian semi-pro (protoss) told a half-year ago that he played vs Idra 3 times in a row and each time used the 14 Nexus build. He won all 3 games and at the end of the third game Idra said "fucking 14 Nexus" and typed out.
